🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. Skipperhuset was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, among other things by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is wall to wall with the brewery that has a renovated oven.

The cabin is located in scenic surroundings with the forest right outside the door. Here you can enjoy the quietness and hear the buzz of the trees and the birds chirping. Proximity to Kvåsfossen with possibility of villa fishing. Great hiking opportunities summer as well as winter. Heat yourself on the fireplace on the mountain outside the cabin. About 20 minutes by car is Lyngdal which can offer shopping/restaurants and not least Sørlandsbadet. 30 min from the ski center.
