Wonderful stay! Beautiful surroundings and a lovely view of the Shenandoah mountains from the living room and bedroom. Very clean and Carmen was very responsive and made us feel at home. Cabin is close to town for groceries and some restaurants overlooking the valley.

The isolation and peacefulness of Shepherd’s Cottage was just what we needed after long days of hiking in Shenandoah. The cabin is rustic and feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere on its own hill - as long as you go prepared for this type of property, it will be a wonderful experience. I loved waking up to the beautiful nature views and being able to fully disconnect up there. You’ll leave refreshed and destressed!

Loved staying here especially with my pup! I also utilized the laundry and it worked great. My dog loved playing fetch in the backyard and sitting on the comfy couch. As a single female, I just wish there were curtains to cover the windows and sliding doors in the main living space to make me feel safer.

Kay was very responsive, place was great stayed only for a night while hiking Shenandoah, would recommend!
