The owners built this remarkable villa as their personal Bali residence, completing the project in 2019. It was designed to be as comfortable as any residential home in the world, with thoughtful decorations throughout and now you are welcome to experience it for yourself. Conceptualised by renowned Bali based architect Alexis Dornier, the River House was built with locally sourced sandstone and reclaimed timber. In addition, the wooden latticework on the exterior, paired with multiple semi-outdoor spaces, provide different perspectives and viewpoints as you enjoy all the villa has to offer.
The interior design by Somewhere Concepts works to bring you through the grand entrance into an inviting space that blends Bali’s topical outdoors with comfortable finishings. Expect to be flawed by the double-height ceilings, expansive alfresco dining area and poolside tropical gardens. Contemporary minimalism is effortlessly seen throughout the River House. Here you will see the vertical 25m swimming pool, perfectly surrounded by lush greenery to offer shade from the afternoon sun. Experience a new way of living with views of the generous landscaped gardens thoughtfully prepared by the Bali Landscape Company featuring coconut trees, rice fields and river access.

Guest access
Our villa manager and staff will be waiting to welcome you to the villa on arrival at the gate simply let our staff know you have arrived either by phone or by ringing the bell on the intercom. Guests are welcome to request an early arrival, otherwise, check in is from 2:00 pm daily. We offer secure parking for 2 cars and a few scooters inside the complex. The security guard is on-site each night from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am and we offer guests added peace of mind with 24 hour CCTV.
Other things to note
Check in time is from 2:00 pm and Check out time is 11:00 am. Please respect the arrival and departure times as outlined in your terms of stay. The River House Bali is not pet friendly or secure for pets so please do advise management if you have questions regarding pets before booking. We are not a party house, however, we can offer guests a chance to enjoy the entertainment and dining areas for small dinner parties of up to 12 people.
