Near downtown, close to the main street in a quiet local neighborhood. 15 minutes from the Nile River Promenade, markets, train and bus stations, ferry to the west bank, and Luxor Temple. Karnak Temple is 10 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes by horse and carriage. The airport is 30 minutes away by taxi.

Mohamed is a great host and gave us simple and quick check-in and check-out instructions. He provided options for us to book transportation, meals at his place and activities such as a balloon experience. He is very responsible and nice. His apartment met all our requirements. It is quite big and has a lot of light. We slept very well there. The apartment isn’t located in the city centre but it is close to the majority of the important temples on the west-side (check in Google Maps “Malkata House” as the apartment is located nearby). For us the location wasn’t a bit issue because anyway in Egypt you need to move with taxi (even if you are in the city centre there are many sites not in the city centre). Actually, I have to say the location was quite positive in the way that was quiet and peaceful, far from the noise of the city centre. I would fully recommend this apartment to have a pleasant stay in Luxor. If I come back to Luxor, Mohamed’s apartment will be definitely my option again

Maher in addition to being an amazing host, is an exceptional guide, he has over 30 years of experience in the world of travel. He speaks perfect French and will be able to advise and accompany you throughout your stay to make it magical! I really recommend Maher's place.

First of all the Airbnb is really very well located. Also the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it. the owner is really helpful. Many things can be done on foot. Perfect.
