Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Luxor

Friendly family hostel with super Nilblick! The Hofni-Palace is a friendly, family-run small apartment house with 5 apartments. From the balconies of the two upper apartments to the main street, you have a wonderful view of the Nile. I had the apartment on the top right: 2 bedrooms, each with its own balcony, kitchen, bathroom and living room with balcony to the side. All rooms are spacious. The bathroom has a boiler, so you can still shower warm even during the power outages in Luxor (about 2 hours/day). I was in Luxor in January where the temperatures can drop to about 10° at night. However, the apartment also remained sufficiently warm without heating. Tayea is the owner and manager of Hofni Palace. He organized tours for me and partly also did his own car. I felt very comfortable with him and his British partner, Margaret. Tip: Tayea exchanges your euros for significantly better rates than the banks / ATMs!

The landlord was very kind. When we came to Luxor, we couldn't find his house. He personally drove to pick us up. We were very grateful and moved. His house was clean, tidy and comfortable, and it felt like home. The landlord was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help us book a hot air balloon. Unfortunately, the weather could not do it. Unfortunately. We want to buy food, but we can't get it outside. The landlord took the initiative to help us buy food. He is a very good person.

We had a wonderful stay at Amr’s place in Luxor! He is an incredibly warm and cheerful host who even came to pick us up from the train station, which was a lovely surprise. The room was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully prepared with snacks and drinks waiting for us. In a city where it’s easy to fall into tourist traps—especially with horse carriage rides—Amr kindly connected us with a trustworthy and friendly driver, making the experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend staying at his place. It’s a hidden gem in Luxor that you shouldn’t miss!

Farag (and his father, Hamada) ran a wonderful AirBnB. It was well worth the money just for the views out the two balconies in the flat. I really appreciated that the hosts were responsive to any requests or inquiries that I had, particularly about small issues in the flat (all normal wear-and-tear issues). They were very responsive and communicated well any time I reached out to them. The flat was well equipped and the location was nice for getting around the West Bank in Luxor (easy to grab local public transit or for a taxi service to come and pick you up). I wish Farag and Hamada would advertise to their guests that they offer a breakfast service before they check in. It's a great amenity. At the time of writing it was 150LE per person per meal if you wanted a delicious, home cooked Egyptian breakfast every morning! The building also has a nice rooftop hangout area for all guests in the building to use. I can highly recommend staying here!

This place was one of the loveliest stays in Egypt. With a great view over the Nile, amazing breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. the service was really good and all the staff, especially Ashraf were very helpful and organised many trips for us including a sunrise balloon trip at very reasonable prices

Shehab was a very responsive host and even helped us in getting currency exchanged at a short notice. The house is very good with all the necessary amenities.

The place is very quite and private. With a big terrace and beautiful garden with flowers and cat. Everything was clean and Hassan is very nice and friendly. Only walk for 10min to get to port, Highly recommend!!!

I recently stayed at this charming Villa hosted by one most hospitable hosts I've ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients that really set the tone for the day. The location was perfect - nestled in a beautiful, tranquil village surrounded by nature, it was the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. What really stood out to me was how the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Not only did they provide excellent recommendations for nearby tourist attractions, but they also took the time to connect us with locals who could assist us with our travel needs. Friendly and dedicated host. He has a very high understanding of the Luxor area, and you can hear interesting stories about ancient Egypt that you can't read in books. The view from the house is very nice, and at dawn you can take pictures with the wonderful scenery of Bolun Tour. All the furniture is newly purchased, and they try to accommodate guests' requests as much as possible. The host is also a local guide, and you can get a variety of recommendations and professional knowledge. Fluent in English, so no problem communicating

The house was very beautiful on the inside and outside. The rooms were big and clean and the airconditioning was very helpfull. the rooftop was also very nice with a good view of the nature. Abdallah was an awsome host who made us feel welcome and at home, and was always helpfull from the moment we arrived. He made sure to give as a good expierence of the city by organizing and giving amazing tours as a guide but mostly as a friend. I would highly recommend booking this house!

i am in Luxor more often but I have never lived so quiet and spectacularly. A cute Nubian style cottage with 2 bedrooms , comfy beds, great patio and sensational view aif the illuminated mountains. simply magical. The house is only 400 meters from Habu temple, so no houses in the immediate vicinity. Absolute tranquility, perfect karma fields on the left, right mountains. you can't live in Luxor better. Mohammed was a very helpful and kind host. He will always make sure you’re okay. He brought us some bananas first night we stayed in. Which was very nice from him 🥹🥰 The place is located in the peaceful site of the city which makes the place a peaceful home. The swimming pool definitely is the star of the house. My little one enjoyed a lot. The only thing I will recommend to Mohammed is equipe the kitchen a little bit more. Maybe few more cutlery and fry pans will be helpful. Overall was a great place to stay in! Thank you very much.

The accommodation is a little far from the city, and the surroundings are quiet, and there is a large grocery store right at the entrance of the apartment, so you can buy any necessities (excluding alcohol). If you need to go out to the city, you can call Indrive.

Great host! Nice spacious apartment. The pictures make the place look small but it’s actually quite spacious and the bathroom is huge. I enjoyed my stay Mo helped me by booking a few tours also transportation to Aswan. The driver he provided is very nice and is super knowledgeable of the land. Restaurants are within walking distance I highly recommend Nile Freedom the owner is super chill and the food is 10/10! Would definitely book with Mo again.

Great apartment located west bank close to several restaurants and 5 min from the ferry. The place is quiet. We also appreciated the completely blackout shutters on the bedroom window door. We couldn't enjoy the pool (too cool at the end of February🤪) but it made you want to 😉 The host was very responsive by message when needed but he doesn't live here, so we were greeted by an intermediary.

Badawi promptly responded to my advance questions re: the best time to arrive, how I can go to his listing to check in, how he can show me where to go for shopping and food, how I can have my things sent to me, how my rental is private, how he will let the employees know not to bother me, and anything else I needed such as the wonderful free breakfast, WiFi, etc. When my plane landed, I texted Badawi as we discussed prior to my arrival, and he gave me clear directions on how to take the taxi to the ferry with the few things I had brought on the plane, then met me at the ferry dock, carried my things to his car, and chauffeured me the rest of the beautiful way to the rental. The place was better than expected. Rarely have I felt so at home!! He had a working refrigerator with some welcome fruit in it, showed me how to open the balcony doors for air or just sunshine, and then let me stay in peace unless I needed anything, at which time he responded very well and professionally.
