Stay at Styvesethaugen in Flåmsdalen, Flåm

Stay in the middle of Flåmsdalen in rural idyll, with beautiful mountains and waterfalls. This is the place for those who want to live in nature. There is a rich diversity of species in forests and wildlife. The cabin has both a terrace with dining table and hammock and its own small garden. The small farm is located at 266 m.a.s.l. About 20 minutes drive from Flåm city center. We live in the house next door, so if there should be anything, just get in touch. The downhill to the small farm is steep, but we also have parking up by the road if needed.

Boat is available in the summer months. The cabin is located 40 km from Sogndal, about 30 km from Sogndal ski center, Hodlekve. A local Joker store is only 3 km from the cabin.

In the house you will find pictures and trip tips from the surrounding area. All the tours mentioned are tried and recommended by our small, sprightly co-hosts of 10, 12 and 14 years! Bed linens and towels are included in the rent and are ready for your arrival!

Fagerlund 2- Cabin between Olden and Briksdalen

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful residence in the middle of mountains and fjords on Sunde, by the blue-green Oldevatnet /Oldewater. Here you have many hiking opportunities if you like to walk in the mountains. Klovane, Kjenuken/Høgenibba and Kattanakken are among the many popular top hikes in the area. 15 min drive to Briksdal glacier one way and 15 min drive to Loen and Hoven the other way. 30 min to Stryn. Place is well equipped with ready-made beds, towels and cleaning included!

Undredal Langhuso

Car recommanded for this stay. 6 km from Undredal, 6 km from Flåm, you will find Undredal valley, the area for this cabin. This is the place they have their goats in the summertime, and some of their browncheese-productions. You are still able to see some of the production-equipment inside. The goats will be in this area from middle July to the start of Sept. This is a peacefull place to relax, without TV and WiFi. Take your coffie outside, to the view of mountains and falls. The camping is an excellent starting point for hiking trips to Haugabreen glacier, Oldeskaret and Briksdalen during summer and Snønipa(1827m) for back country skiing in winter and spring. Idol place for powder key drivers. “Nice cabin with a wonderful view over the Hafslo-Lake. Ernst is a really nice host, his wife and Ernst show us everything about the cabin and we also get firewood. In the cabin you have everything you need!”
