The area offers great hiking opportunities both summer and winter, and is a good starting point for experiences such as Nigardsbreen, Sognefjellet, Urnes stavkirke, and idyllic Solvorn.

Eldhuset is a cozy, small cabin that is best suited for couples, possibly with young children. It has its own patio with a screened in terrace on one side and a small lawn on the other side. Klovane, Kjenuken/Høgenibba and Kattanakken are among the many popular top hikes in the area. 15 min drive to Briksdal glacier one way and 15 min drive to Loen and Hoven the other way. 30 min to Stryn. Place is well equipped with ready-made beds, towels and cleaning included!
