Beautiful setting and beautiful house! We loved the peace and quiet of the location and yet it was close to everything. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the place was spotless.

Such an ideal place to stay for my bridesmaids and myself the night before my wedding! The space was just what we needed and more!

We had an amazing stay at this property, absolutely gorgeous inside and out! Mike and Samantha were fantastic hosts, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had during our visit. The views of the surrounding trees were stunning, and we were lucky enough to see deer roaming the property every morning, which made it feel even more magical. The home itself was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at Joseph's place !! Everything was above and beyond expectations and we cannot wait to return!! The property was the most amazing rental we have had - the house was beautiful, immaculate, spacious and tastefully decorated. The property was a peaceful and gorgeous sanctuary full of foliage, a private creek and a private waterfall with tables and benches to enjoy it all !! Our dog had the time of his life and we enjoyed watching him explore in a safe environment. Joseph was very communicative and responsive and there was an instruction binder with clear instructions as well as a helpful binder of things to do in the area. Everything you could want or need was well supplied and we enjoyed sitting out on the enclosed back porch as well as the seating areas around the property including a fire pit and pans for panning gold in the creek. I cannot say enough positive things about Joseph's secluded and serene retreat - 5 star experience !!!

This is the perfect getaway for a quiet mountain retreat. The back porch is the best perch for a little quiet time to unplug. All of the basics were there for a family to feel right at home. The shallow rippling river made a little “ride” for the kids to float down until well after the sun went down. Coopers Creek store is 5-10 min away if you run out of s’mores, eggs or firewood. The locals are super friendly and hosts were superb. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

We visited for a family wedding. It was the perfect spot for us. Convenient to the wedding venue, plenty of space, and everything was just as described. The home was very clean and stocked very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, made some great family memories and look forward to visiting again in the future!

This was our second stay at Red Door Cottage. It is very comfortable and homey. It was off the beaten path but also felt very safe. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans. Bedding is very comfortable and tons of closet space. Also a great selection of books, games, DVDs and puzzles. Even though it seems private, it is only a couple of miles to town.

Our extended family was looking for a central location to celebrate some milestone birthdays. This house had the perfect arrangement of needed bed/bath combos, lots of conversation spaces and a large kitchen and dining area to bring the whole family together. We loved that there were both exposed porches to soak up the sun and covered porches to sit and watch the rain. The house was well stocked and the furniture was in great shape. Dahlonega is an awesome place to visit with plenty to do. The house is secluded and yet just a 15 minute drive from the downtown square. We highly recommend the home and location.

Chris was a delightful host. Kind, responsive and helpful! The home was super clean and well appointed. We so enjoyed the amazing views and the hot tub and our grand children loved playing “corn bag” as they called it. There are some steep stairs to the basement recreation area but they have taken great care to have handles where needed and reminders to watch your step. I appreciated all the instruction qr codes and little printed framed signs to help guests. We look forward to returning.

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Teresa and Michael’s beautiful home for a weekend wedding at a nearby vineyard, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth by Teresa, Michael, and their adorable dog Jack! Their home is spacious, spotless, and full of charm. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, and we had everything we needed to feel completely at home. One of the highlights was the generous gift of fresh, free-range eggs from their hens — such a lovely touch! After the whirlwind of the wedding, we were so grateful to be able to unwind by their stunning pool area, especially since they kindly let us stay past checkout time (as no other guests were arriving that day). It was exactly the kind of peaceful, restorative moment we needed with our loved ones. Thank you, Teresa and Michael, for your hospitality, kindness and for making this weekend extra special for our entire family!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and fishing along the river. The kids toys and games were a nice addition. Nicki was very friendly and responsive. We’d love to stay here again next year!

This place is phenomenal! Even with bad weather there were a ton of games and enough space to be warm and cozy. We have so much fun inside and out. North Georgia has beautiful places to visit and, if you like stones and crystals, fun places to do simple mining. The house is wonderful, very clean, well equipped, just bring your food. Corey, the host, is great communicator and always responds my messages quick. This was our 2nd time and we are planing the return.

What a delightful place to stay. Plenty of room for the seven of us. It was great having the choice of playing ping pong, billiards, and such. Hiking was close by, and we were able to see multiple falls. So beautiful and peaceful.

This was a wonderful home with beautiful outdoor surroundings with blooming shrubs in a quiet neighborhood. We loved staying here. This was close to hiking trails, Dahlonega square with restaurants, and historic sights to see. We wish we had stayed longer! Highly recommend this home.

We had a wonderful family Christmas at Baby Bear. Our family of 8 had plenty of room. My mom and husband, who have mobility issues loved the middle floor, my oldest daughter and her husband enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs room and their 15 year old twins had the top floor. The playroom was a delightful surprise and was well used and the fireplace was thoroughly enjoyed. The house was beautiful and the Christmas tree was such a sweet treat. We loved the kitchen and used it a lot, since the crowds in town were such that a party of 8 was nearly impossible to get seated. I can’t say enough about the house and location. It was beautiful, peaceful and just what we were looking for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin! The cabin is exactly as described and just so cozy! We loved all of the small, intimate touches! Jennifer is a great hostess and responded immediately to our small concerns! Highly recommend!

Great get-away for a family! Lots to do on the property, you can fish, swing, look for salamanders in the creek and look at the waterfall. Sitting by the firepit watching the river go by was relaxing.

We really enjoyed our time here. The home is spacious and comfortable. It would be perfect for multiple families. The description says riverfront but I was a bit disappointed that you can’t actually see anything from the house. We could very faintly hear it. We walked down that way and there was a small section that you could see the water but there was no way to get down to it (unless we missed something). It was still a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Thanks to the host for being accommodating.

This was an amazing location. The bedrooms were stunning. The view from the porch was great. My daughter had the opportunity to get on the Hammock it was so relaxing. One of the highlights for my kids was the garage that had multiple games in there. The kitchen was fully loaded, the beds were super comfortable. The driveway had enough space for multiple cars. We didn’t try out the hot tub, but it definitely looked enticing. The fire pit was everything and if we ever visit during the fall, we be sure to light it up thank you so much.

We just checked out of Deerfield and had a wonderful stay! The house is absolutely beautiful—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. My parents are from Minnesota, and their favorite part was using the chimney. It made the space feel extra special for them. 10/10
