I had an amazing stay!!! Staring before check in to check out, Céline was very responsive and accommodating. She responded quickly with any questions I had and was a delight to talk to. I had all the amenities needed for the perfect stay. It was definitely a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to be surrounded by a peaceful environment and the view of the ocean was AMAZING. This will 100% be my go-to rental whenever I'm back in Normandie. Thank you for an amazing stay Céline. Your place is comfortable, accommodating, beautiful and worth every penny. From the beginning a warm welcome from Julie, and a warm feeling when entering the house. A beautiful, cozily furnished house, with all amenities. Located in a quiet, green area. Plenty of privacy, large garden where the children could play. The location of the house is convenient, to combine with trips in Normandy. Such as the landing beaches, Honfleur. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, an experience not to forget!!

We had a very pleasant extended weekend in this beautiful house. Very large garden, ideal for children, the decoration of the house is done with great taste, everything is quality and comfortable. Stayed here for 6 days with my dad and sister and we loved it so much, with only a 100m walk to the beach and a fantastic base to explore the Normandy beaches. This trip will be one for the memory books for us as a family and the AirBnB was perfect for us all. Walking to the beach after dinner each evening to watch the sunsets was pure joy to end each wonderful day. We would definitely recommend Francoise's place and would love to return again. THANK YOU!

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

We recommend this accommodation: cozy, clean and tidy, space for business, good location, etc. Everything is done to make you feel at home, but better. There's even a nice electric fireplace. Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

Very good stay in a beautiful villa that matches the description exactly. The plus is the indoor heated swimming pool, a pleasant garden and activities for everyone. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. we highly recommend this beautiful villa for family or friend gatherings.

the pluses: Comfortable house very well located and perfectly quiet. Quick access to the beach allows beautiful walks and also arrival in Honfleur by the estuary. The two terraces are ideal for meals for 7/8 people, the large lot is perfectly enclosed and safe for children and dogs even small. The fairly busy road along the land does not cause any disturbance. Depending on the direction of the wind, you can be slightly confused by the sound of Le Havre flares (on the other side )or the passage of a few big boats that make the show! the -: if the kitchen is perfectly equipped in terms of appliances, it is however missing two or three fundamental utensils such as the oven dish exit handles and large service knives. The operation of the living room lighting remained a mystery to us! (untimely outages). Overall, the service is as described quiet and comfortable.

We had a great birthday weekend with suitable weather. Everyone was happy! Practical house for people with limited mobility, large families and dogs who were able to enjoy the garden. Very responsive and attentive host. To be repeated.

Caroline's house was perfect for our family holiday. It was very clean and well equipped for both adults and children. Easy walking distance to local amenities and beach. All queries were answered immediately.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

We had a wonderful week in this property just outside of the town of Deauville. The house is located in a quiet suburban area with a Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk down the street which was very convenient. The large walled garden was great for the kids and the table tennis table, sun loungers, outdoor eating area, and table football all proved popular! The house itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful traditional style timber framed building. The interior has a lot of exposed wood beams and very high quality furnishings. Everything that we needed was provided and we were very comfortable during our stay. The local town of Deauville has plenty going on including shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a pretty place with a harbour and some canals - lovely to be by the water. Between the house and Deauville is a wide sandy beach with stunning views along the coastline from Villers sur Mer to La Havre. Well worth a visit!
