We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The hosts were so warm and hospitable. The views are breathtaking and the location is so peaceful. I wish we stayed longer!

My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights, what a beautiful scene to wake up to each morning. The Machias River attracts so much wildlife ( Bald Eagles, Osprey, seals, deer and lots of geese that made the Inn a landing strip) and we got to see that every day. Area restaurants are very good as well. We look forward to going back again next year.

The experience left nothing to be desired as we were looking for a remote spot and a place comfortable and spacious enough to stay inside during bad weather and Jeff’s place checked the boxes. We were the only ones in the 2 unit home. The view is very pretty and the wildlife is plentiful. The access to the water is down a dirt embankment which leads to mud flats at low tide. Beware of the tides if you can get the kayaks down there.

Melissa was a wonderful host. Her place is clean and well stocked with useful and thoughtful items. Melissa was very helpful with local recommendations and reached out to help us troubleshoot dinner options when the power in town went out. Would definitely stay here again. Five stars all around!

This place was absolutely amazing. It was cozy and felt just like home. The hosts accomadeted us and provided us everything we needed for our stay on Grand Manan. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Joann's, place is one of the best places on the island, clean, quiet and peaceful, we'll put together she put a lot thought in Making you feel comfortable. Lots of instructions and go beyond leaving little things in the unit given that there's not a lot ooptions on the island...LOVE THE SPOT.

Laura's apartment overlooking the pier and water was truly exceptional. The apartment is spacious and large with incredible views in a prime location. Laura was a terrific and flexible host and we appreciated how easy she made the check-in and check-out process. Would absolutely stay in this apartment again.

Private and quiet. The cottage was beautifully decorated, everything was clean and you felt right at home. The large deck with fire pit was awesome. So nice to enjoy early morning coffee on and watch the tides change. Overall awesome weekend and we will be back!

The Cory Cottage was perfect for our party of 8. Each couple had their own private ensuite which was wonderful considering that that option isn't always available. The location was within walking distance to the downtown shops and steps away from the Algonquin Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we would have needed and more. We loved the original features of the home and the modern touches as well. It's such a charming place and we definitely plan to return.

This home is just lovely. The town is very small and you need to drive 10-15 miles to the nearest "large" town to get groceries of any consequence. That being said, get what you need ahead of time and just enjoy the GORGEOUS surroundings. A marvelous place to decompress. There is no TV and no radio reception which we loved. We were able to buy lobster right off a boat and everything you need to cook and eat them is provided. I very much like that the shower has what you need in neat push button bottles mounted on the wall. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets if needed. Can't say enough about the spectacular views. Watching the lobster/fishing boats go in and out and hearing the rumble of the engines was great. The home is close enough that you could use it for your base to visit Acadia Nat Park. Don't miss going to Winter Harbor. Small but some good art, good coffee shop, and a super general store. You can also catch a ferry over to Bar Harbor from there.

so lovely, well designed, and peaceful! Views from every room right on water's edge. watching the tides, birds, and boats was wonderful. Tom's cottage is comfy, immaculate, and very special. We enjoyed the Great Wass nature preserve. will be back!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Brianne’s place in Chamcook. This was our second time visiting & we were so excited to be back. The home had everything we could need and our hosts were very responsive and helpful. We were travelling with our children and appreciated all of the board games, toys & baby gear at the house. Highlight of the weekend was how much sea glass we found during walks on the beach! Definitely recommend!

Natalie and April's cabin on the lake is absolutely amazing! Extremely quiet and so peacefully relaxing! Very clean and organized with just about everything you could imagine needing available to you! We will definitely be booking with these wonderful ladies again next time we are visiting!

We loved our stay at the House of Dreams; it was cozy and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the cove. Jason and Aimee left us some thoughtful treats, and the home was beautifully decorated. It was fun perusing the library including great info on the local flora and fauna. The beach was only a few steps away and it was so restful to hear the ocean and hunt for treasures on the beach. We would definitely love to return!

What can I say about Salt Air, other than SPECTACULAR! This is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The house is pristine and spotless and the location is beyond beautiful. Mark is an amazing host, he goes above and beyond in communication and in providing such a lovely home to stay in. We were looking for peace and tranquility and we found it in spades here. I could go on for days about how perfect this place is, but instead of listening to me, you should just book your trip to come here! You certainly won’t regret a single moment! Thank you Mark!
