Charming Pyrenean cottage

Our cottage is a fully renovated former bread oven. Ardiège, our village, is 10 minutes from Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges. We are located at the foot of the Pyrenean Piedmont, 30 minutes from Luchon. Our garden is not overlooked and very quiet. We will gladly share our above-ground pool, which is only open from June... We have a very sociable female dog (she is a shepherd), and laying hens whose eggs you can taste! Warning: cleaning to be done on departure :)

This family home is close to transportation (bus and train in June 2025!) It is part of a building composed of 3 apartments. As well as shops (supermarket, butcher, bakery, pharmacy...) everything is within walking distance! A shared garden is available for playing pétanque or barbecue. Parking for a private vehicle. The place is fully equipped to accommodate 4/6 people. Free condiments, coffee, tea, etc. Bed linen and towels are included.

Welcome to Playras! Come and recharge your batteries in this tiny hamlet, a little piece of heaven perched at 1100 m altitude, facing south. Stunning views of the Spanish border chain. This hamlet is made up of about fifteen old barns, each more beautiful than the last, giving it an indefinable charm! The GR de Pays (Tour du Biros) passes in front of our house. Small renovated 1930s house located in a small village of Barousse where the rooster crows, and the church bell rings every hour, 10 minutes from Saint Bertrand de Comminges, 10 minutes from the highway and 35 minutes from the ski slopes. Numerous hikes around the accommodation including the ViaGarona which passes right next to Loures Barousse. Toulouse is a 1-hour drive away and Tarbes is 45 minutes away.
