We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment with lovely views from the balcony. It was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. Susanne was an excellent host who gave us lots of helpful information prior to our arrival. Thank you Susanne and we will be highly recommending to friends and family.

A traditional thatched cottage is displayed alongside a lush green lawn. Red-trimmed windows offer a striking contrast against the white walls. A summerhouse with a thatched roof can be seen in the foreground, framed by expansive views of the nearby lake and a clear blue sky.

Secluded Magical Lakeside Escape

Rose Cottage is comfortable and magical! We really enjoyed our two nights there. It’s a perfect combination of genuine old-world charm (those wonderful thick walls!) and comfortable, convenient, beautiful updates and interior design. The kitchen is charming and well-equipped for a longer stay. The hosts were incredibly helpful and provided so much useful information in advance. We loved watching the swan on the lake opposite the cottage! Great launch point for exploring County Clare. Very much recommended and we’d love to come again!

Kilrateera Cottage, Mountshannon/Lough Derg

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a very peaceful and relaxing few days at Greg and Annie’s beautiful place in the trees on Mountshannon. Our hosts were helpful and friendly, their knowledge and enthusiasm for the area were an encouragement, to explore more than just our main objective (which was to visit Holy Island Inis Cealtra on Loch Derg). Also… best shower ever!

We loved our stay in Nan's cottage. It is a peaceful spot and beautiful cozy cottage. Pamela is an excellent host, responsive and clear with her communication. We will return another time and hopefully get a chance to explore the area a bit better. thanks

Andrea’s place is so fab. It’s so boujee and looks exactly like the photos. We stayed for a night on a stopover from Dublin to Dingle, and it was the perfect place for it. Andrea greeted us on arrival and gave us a great recommendation to grab a pint in town while we were here. Herself and her husband gave us a lovely goodbye too, it was such a fab layover, wish we had longer!

A small horse stands in a grassy field, surrounded by tall vegetation. The horse's shaggy mane is slightly disheveled, and its coat appears shiny under natural light. The background features a mix of trees and open grassland, contributing to a rural setting.

The Stables a rural retreat with bags of character

loved our stay at Tracy's. Find it hard to book accommodation that allows pets but Tracy's was perfect, in the perfect setting also. our host was very warm and welcoming, and super friendly. our puppy had a great time playing with tracys pets esp the donkey!! because there was no guests booked in for the following night she let us take our time booking out which was really appreciated. the cottage is very cosy and full of character and charm. Tracy was great at giving us information of local towns, shops, food and things to see and do. Loved our stay and can't wait to get back in the near future

Stone Cottage

I stayed in Margaret’s cottage for a weekend with friends and had a wonderful time! The area was beautiful and secluded, with a village pub only 5 minutes away. Margaret was also so responsive to any questions I had and the cottage was spotless when we arrived. The building was freshly renovated but the bar area had a feel of an old country pub - it was great for a group! I will definitely be coming back and visiting the village of Kilbarron again!
