The place is very conveniently located, 12 minutes from Playa Avellanas and about 30 minutes from Tamarindo. The hosts are amazing and Gabriel, in particular, is super open to making sure the customer is comfortable…for example, after check-out we went to the beach. Since we got covered in sand, we asked him if he would allow us to use some showers that were in the Airbnb parking area. Gabriel very kindly allowed us to use it, and even let us use the bathrooms of the place before we left for San José again.

Staying at the “House of Waves” was an asset to our Costa Rica trip. The location right by the sea is unique, you can feel and hear the sea in all its facets. Although you live in the complex with other parties, it was always quiet and respectful. You can also freely use the outdoor areas. The bamboo construction of the cottage is very impressive, you have everything you need and there is a lot of love in everything. Just be aware: you live with nature, that is, with cockroaches, crabs and other insects. In and around the house. It's part of the experience 😊

Great lodging here. The treehouse is charming and full of character. The surroundings are filled with nature and beautiful animals (including the separate and well-attended doggie rescue). This was a very pleasant retreat and I would return there if I was back in that side of Guanacaste. Also, the beaches are close from a driving perspective.

Everything is excellent. Very good communication, the location is very strategic, the place is quiet, it has good parking. The facilities are very well maintained and clean. I would definitely come back. Thank you so much for everything.

We stayed at Casa Mehiti for 7 days and had a lovely experience. The space was designed to create a feel of shady, peaceful nature and it provided all of that. We spent most days lounging during the mid day when the sun and heat were the strongest. We had early sunrise mornings and afternoons at the beach which was a short walk away (a few minutes). The surfing camp was a couple of minutes short walk as well as the neighbourhood Cafe. It is very quiet which we enjoyed. You may need transportation to go to a vegetable and fruit market as there is none walking distance. The sunsets are incredible. The huts were clean and the bed was really comfy. Jean, his friend and family were all incredibly friendly and a pleasure to have around. We were greeted with welcome drinks in the fridge. Jean offered help and assistance wherever we needed. We got to see monkeys playing in the trees and different kinds of birds. What a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. The beach was perf for surfing.

Very quiet and peaceful, quite clean and very well-equipped house, quite close to the beach, the fans are just a little old so it can get a little hot and the vegetation helps to cool the house, the vehicle must be left outside but it is only 50 meters from the house but it is very quiet so it is safe, Johannes is an excellent host, always attentive to everything, I would definitely stay in this house again.

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! Very spacious, we loved it. The kitchen has all the amenities needed. Washer and dryer 10/10. The pool was so much fun specially at night with the lights, we had more fun in the pool than in the beach. The pool table was so much fun too! There is a Soda with delicious food and Pollolandia at walking distance. The double shower has to be our favorite part of the house. We did have a problem with the AC unit in the main room one day and got it fixed at night. We also had a problem with bats inside the roof that didn’t let us sleep during our stay, they did come to fix the problem but they were still there. Marlon did apologize and said the roofs were getting replaced soon. We also did have bats approach the pool at night as we swam. Aside from those little things we had a wonderful stay. We felt very safe at all times.

We had an incredible week at Jardín de los Mangos in Lagunilla, Costa Rica. My wife, our toy poodle Ruby, and I loved exploring the 20 acres of nature—we spotted monkeys, iguanas, parrots, bats, and chickens. We even enjoyed being in the company of their friendly dog, Yogi. The swimming pool was perfect for a refreshing midday dip, and the brand-new cabin had everything we needed. From the poolside gas BBQ and pool table to the washer and dryer, every detail was thoughtfully provided. The bed was super comfortable, the pillows were fresh, and the air conditioning kept the cabin cool all day. We cooked plenty of meals, relaxed with Netflix, and sipped Costa Rican coffee on the porch each morning. Avery was an amazing host, always available when we had questions. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this hidden gem!

What a wonderful, peaceful place to stay! The casita was spotless and beautiful. Food was great, swimming in the pool was fantastic and the views are incredible. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and recharge, this is it!!!

A hidden gem in Brasilito! My stay at this charming cabin nestled in the heart of nature was peaceful and full of wildlife! The cabin itself was cozy, well-maintained, and perfectly located within walking distance of grocery stores and stunning beaches. The pool area was perfect to relax, and the outdoor grill and kitchen area was a bonus. Wildlife sightings were a daily delight, with birds, monkeys, and other creatures making this an unforgettable experience! The cabin deck was another highlight where I could relax and enjoy coffee while watching the monkeys swing in the trees. Our host, Marie, was fantastic—warm, welcoming, and eager to share insider tips on local attractions, dining, and activities. Her hospitality made my stay even more special! If you're looking for a quiet escape that still keeps you close to local conveniences and breathtaking scenery, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!

The place is very nice and complete, in the kitchen there were all kinds of utensils and appliances, the comfortable rooms and the bathroom very nice and impeccable, the pool area has a waterfall and colored lights perfect to enjoy on the night of a meeting with friends, full recommended

A peaceful spot with a fabulous beach just 4 minute walk away. After swimming in the ocean, we relaxed by the pool. We had a family of 5 howler monkeys climbing over our heads. You will be entertained by the howler monkeys and the visits from local birds and iguanas. The facilities are exactly as posted. It's quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and sweet. They are now like extended family. Anything you need they will try to help. There is lots to do and see nearby but you will need some form of transportation. We would be back to this spot and highly recommend the lovely kind people who host.
