Beach house vacation rentals in Long Beach Island

We had the perfect stay at Britt’s Barnegat Light bungalow! The location was quiet and walkable to a park, the bay beach and playground, the ocean beach, lighthouse, restaurants, ice cream, mini golf and more. The house itself was bigger than expected with lots of space to gather and relax. Good working AC and laundry, which are a must when traveling with kiddos! Zero complaints. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our time there.

Our party really enjoyed our stay! The property was extremely clean, spacious, equipped with exactly what we needed. Easy access to casinos and golf courses nearby. We would highly recommend this property!

My family and I had an exceptional time. We really appreciated all the extra effort our host made, making the stay absolutely perfect! The place was immaculate and anything we needed was there. We definitely want to book again next summer and already began looking at dates. What an amazing find!

Lovely stay at Amanda’s place in barnegat light. Proximity to beautiful pristine beach is excellent. There’s opportunity for a few updates but overall we were very comfortable and well equipped. My seven year old enjoyed the kid friendly touches like games and books.. and the outdoor shower after the beach. the family room was a big bright space to hang around in.

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. The fact that we were a block and a half walk away from a beautiful and quiet beach was wonderful. But what sealed it was that Ted had every beach amenity we needed—chairs, towels, umbrellas, wagon, boogie boards. It made the trip so easy. Ted was so welcoming and responsive. The location is on a busy road which you can hear from the porch but it didn’t seem to bother my family. It was a great place and kitchen and bathrooms plus outdoor shower were all a hit. Thank you!

My family and I had such an amazing experience in this gorgeous LBI home. There was plenty of room for us and the space was really clean. My nephews aged 4 and 6 were always entertained in the backyard! It is the perfect place for little ones to safely explore and play. You can tell it is a family/child friendly rental- but I can also envision my friends and I renting here and having another great experience! Our host Michael and his staff are the exact kind of hosts I hope to have when renting. They truly trusted us and let us enjoy our stay! When we had questions they responded quickly. The house is modern, seems to be brand new, super clean and clutter free. Anyone can feel at home here- I know my family definitely did! This was my best experience staying at an airbnb and I look forward to renting again! Thank you to Michael and Cabrina!

Such a cute place on the bay! Very close to the beach and without having to be in LBI and more convenient as it is closer to quick food and grocery stores. Place was exactly as described and what we needed! Great price point as well. Bryana was very communicative and helpful! Looking forward to staying here again!

The house is well designed to accommodate 12 people. We celebrated thanksgiving together here and it was perfect to all be in one area of the house to enjoy dinner, games, and conversation. The balcony has ocean view and the beach is right there. It’s a wonderful house with a very responsive and friendly host. We all had a marvelous time and felt right at home.

This home was fantastic! It was super clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We loved using the hot tub as much as possible and managed to go kayaking. My boys tried to go crabbing, but we were told it was not the season for that. They had fun trying. And they liked hanging out in the game room. There were lots of great restaurants nearby and Long Beach Island was not far away. We enjoyed Anthony's Pizza, Dockside Diner and Yellow Dog Coffee. I wish we had better weather, we would have been able to enjoy the outdoor area more. But the home was comfortable to watch the thunder bumpers go through! My mom-in-law, an original Jersey Girl, was able to relax and visit with old friends. She was the reason we came out since she hadn't been out for over 20 years. There were lots of laughter and good food enjoyed here. We would love to come back when we are in the area again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Had a wonderful girl's weekend at the 'Retreat.' The house was very comfortable and the layout was conducive for cooking, eating and hanging out. The beds were comfy too! The backyard is amazing and we wished the weather was more cooperative for outdoor time. Communication with Ann and Mike was extremely easy and timely. We would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this beautiful home in Ocean Gate, New Jersey. The location couldn’t have been better—tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully set up with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. There were plenty of activities to enjoy at the house, making it easy to unwind without ever feeling bored. The host truly went above and beyond—not only was communication smooth, but they also provided a fantastic guidebook full of helpful information about the house and the local area, which made getting settled and exploring a breeze. This place felt like a home away from home, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Perfect last-minute getaway for two families with young kids. The house had everything we needed, and was beautifully decorated while having few items within toddler reach. The deck facing the yacht club was the perfect spot for parents to hang out after the kids went to bed and get some serenity from the water. The perfect version of set apart from the main road while being just a few blocks walk from the beach and restaurants, and a few minute drive to the heart of Beach Haven. We’d love to stay again in the future!

We had a great stay at the nook house! Kim and Steven were responsive hosts and came right over to answer the numerous questions from my in-laws. They provided sheets, towels, and paper goods, which I believe to be unusual at the shore. 2 blocks to the shore, 2 blocks to the bay, lots of bright natural light!

This place is like a piece of heaven on earth! Anything you can think of was included and available for use. The neighbors are great and the owners were a text away if you had any questions. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to the boardwalk, but secluded from the hustle and bustle! Thank you for having us!

We had a great time staying in the home, the location is great, house is clean and view is amazing. The host really paid attention to detail to ensure we gad a great experience, they even left a small cake since I mention it was my wifes birthday! I highly recommend staying here

Great location which is right on the beach front in Long Beach, NJ. You can see the ocean from the patio and walk to the beach in less than 3 minutes. We stayed here with another family (6 people total) and there was plenty of space. The kitchen and grill was fully stocked as well with what you need to cook with. You also can walk to many restaurants and shops within 15 minutes or less. Overall, I highly recommend this location. Dr. Z communicated really well too and provided us with detailed check-in and checkout information.

Ashita and Jason’s home was great for my family. Very large kitchen table accommodated all of us and the various rooms/sitting areas outside made everyone comfortable. Also super location - steps to the beach and walking distance to coffee, dinner, mini golf, etc. Would definitely recommend it!
