Small art stall with wood stove Burg Freienfels

The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

We are renting out the main part of a freshly renovated former school building. The house is ideal for relaxing, making music or for groups who have to work in the area of Weilburg. You can get to Frankfurt fair by car in about an hour. Our apartment "Ruhe und Erholung" (110 sqm) in the Weilburg district of Kubach is situated in a quiet location directly on the outskirts. It offers a parking space. Bicycles can be parked. The apartment is located on the 1st floor with a large balcony and wide views of nature. Two spacious bedrooms can accommodate 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped. Close to shopping. Weilburg and the Lahn Valley offer many leisure and recreational opportunities.

In the stable – side by side with chickens and horses

'IM PFERDESTALL' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the Mühlenanwesen. It used to be a stable. (Be sure to check out my other apartment, 'Scheunen-Loft', too.) The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people seeking a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat up with the stove. See below.
