A delightful cottage in the grounds of our home. Set in approximately 5 acres of beautiful garden. Very peaceful/private location. Comprises of 1 Bedroom with TV and wifi, bathroom with over bath shower, and wc. There is a very small kitchen with small breakfast bar seating area, fridge with ice box and a cooker. (Please note there is no lounge) Ideal for outdoorsy couples, looking to explore the local area, parking in the drive of the main house. (Dogs welcome)

Loch side cottage full of period charm for 4 just outside Oban. The cottage has lots of original features with open fires and lovely views over the Falls of Lora and Loch Etive. We regularly spot seals from the house and if you are in luck; otters! We look forward to welcoming you to our part of Scotland!
What guests are saying:“This is one of those places that you'd like to not review....so you can keep it to yourself. All of the standard expectations were exceeded...very clean, very comfortable, nice amenities (plenty of glasses, plates, pots.....the things that we've been unhappy with in other rentals). The surprise was the Falls of Lora, and the locations to just sit and watch the water (the sitting room and the deck). We rented because it was nice to be on the water.....but had no idea how amazing it would be. The water rushing in and out of the loch (with the tides) looks like a very active river, but it flows in both directions! I literally could have sat there all day and watched. We were also lucky enough to see seals each morning. All in all a great stay.”

The apartment is located on the shores of Loch Etive and is on the outskirts of the village of Taynuilt, 12 miles from Oban. It represents the perfect base to explore the Highlands of Scotland at its best. A haven for wildlife, deer, otters, seals and eagles, can be seen often from the nearby shoreline.

I really enjoyed the perfect touches of area photos and art work that gave a sense of the area as well as th nice decorations that made me feel at home. The views from the apartment are spectacular.
