Enjoy the nature that reigns around our little piece of heaven, located a few steps from the village of Horrues... Visit nearby Pairi Daiza Park (18 min), explore our beautiful countryside on foot or by bike, admire the castles of the surrounding villages. And, nature lovers, don't hesitate to scan the horizon, you could see beautiful birds!

Gîte Le Sambre

Ce logement mémorable est tout sauf ordinaire. L'histoire de notre péniche, ou le confort moderne rencontre le calme apaisant de l'eau, pour une évasion totale. Notre péniche ne navigue plus depuis des années mais en 2023 a été remise à neuf. Le bateau date de 1947, il ravitaillait les péniches en eau potable sur la Meuse, rapatrié il y a environ 35ans au chantier naval de Thuin qui n'existe plus maintenant. Il a servit de restaurant jusqu'en 2022 et puis a été transformé en gîte.

Beautiful industrial loft totaly restaured. Located in our house, the loft is completely private, you share the entrance hall and the backyard with us. The loft features 1 kitchen 1 huge bedroom with a 1m80 width bed and a mezzanine with the sitting-room view. There is a also a cosy reading corner and a beautiful brand new bathroom with an italian shower. 65 square meters in total with air conditioning. Access to the jacuzzi is optional for 20€ bathrobes included.

A refuge to meet with friends or family by the fire, in the garden with only the cows in the meadows as companions. An ode to chic simplicity, raw & warm materials, a return to the essentials, this is what our cottage called "The Best Life" offers you! It's possible to get there by bike from Brussels via the canal.

L'Étang du Sabotier – Highly comfortable pavilion

The fishing pavilion is located in an exceptional site. Facing the pond, it is extended by large sunny terraces that cascade down to the fishing pontoon. The property is located away from the village of Seloignes, near Chimay, located along a stream and on the edge of the forest. Once the gate is closed, you find yourself in another world. This achievement designed by an architect and an artist presents a great unity and magnifies nature.

Since September 2023, a new sofa has served as a second bed.

It is designed to provide a pleasant experience regardless of the weather. You will stay there independently in peace. Well-being assured!

Relax in this quiet and elegant accommodation that is 10 minutes from Charleroi Brussels-South Airport and downtown Charleroi, 40 minutes from Brussels, 40 minutes from Pairi Daiza. I can also drop you off and pick you up if you are not driving during your stay by making a request in advance and for a fee. If you wish, you can order meals from nearby restaurants
