Vintage Airstream on the banks of the Llano River at the Dos Rios RV Park. 1 full bed, and 2 bunks. Full (but small) shower. Cliffs, swimming holes, kayaking, fly fishing, and a bat cave are all in your back yard. Several other Airstreams and cabins are also available on the 15.3 acre, river-front property.
“This place is great and laid back. Hubby and I were looking for an escape from Covid-19 and a good home base while we explored the Hill Country. The airstream is comfortable, although the A/C unit struggled to keep up with 100 degree temps. (It’s a vintage airstream- what do you expect?) Not a deal breaker for us but if you are looking for ice cold comfort, this may not be your jam. Also, the WiFi isn’t that great and your cell phone won’t work except in one little spot on the top of a cliff. (Also not a deal breaker and is actually a bonus if you really are trying to unplug- but if you are the isolated worker type, take a few vacation days and come anyway). For anyone else who likes feeling alone in the world with beautiful views, looking at the stars, cooking over a charcoal grill, and just getting away from it all, let this be your home away from home. The river swimming hole is fun. We also took 2 day trips, one to Fredericksburg (for cell service/WiFi, shopping and the sights) and another to South Llano River State Park in Junction. Both are less than an hour from the RV Park, and both were completely enjoyable. If you don’t like deer, I don’t recommend traveling at dusk. We saw more deer than people on our way back from one of our outings. We will be back when we need a break in the fall and winter, and highly recommend this quirky, laid back lodging.”
This newly constructed tiny house is located just steps from the Llano River in Mason, Texas. It comfortably sleeps 3 with a queen size bed and a twin bed. It's equipped with a full bathroom, a microwave, fridge, coffee pot, griddle and 12" electric skillet. There is lots of amazing outdoor space including a huge fire pit area and a charcoal grill. There are two tiny houses on the property so please bring a friend family and have the whole place to yourselves.
“OMG, we walked in and were in heaven. Yeah it's a tiny house, but it's just what you need! Such a cute place! Decorated perfectly. Clean, organized, and spaciously optimized. Loved the seating area outside, and the fire pit is awesome -- even if it's too hot to build a fire, it's a great place to sit and enjoy the evening. If you have a dog, the area is fenced so roaming around is safe and contained. The kitchen amenities were perfect. I've never had a griddle before but I'm buying that one. (The cleanup was insanely easy.) And the access to the river is the bomb. Close enough to walk but just as easy to drive and park close to the river bank for easy access to your stuff. Just don't forget your floats -- we won't do that next time. And yes, there will be a next time. Too awesome of a stay not to come back.”

“The weekend wasn't long enough. Inside is so comfortable and beautiful, and has such a fantastic view. The outdoor space under the house is a perfect place to chill and lounge in the hammock or beach chairs. The fire pit under the milky way is great, the river is like a personal resort space — and I wanted to spend hours in each location hanging out reading, napping, talking with family and friends, but I needed more time than just a weekend. And I didn't even have time to do any real hiking along the river. I'm already looking forward to visiting again, and I'd live here if I could.”
