If you find yourself in St. John and want a beautiful secluded space with a great view, do not hesitate to stay here! The road getting up to it is extremely steep so if that is hard for you, that would be the only issue. Our jeep made the climb up and down no problem, but it was the steepest road I have ever been on! Other than that, the space is perfect for your homebase. I highly recommend Coffee on the porch for sunrise before your adventure of the day. A great clean space that just feels good to be in.

This was our second visit to St. John, and Villa Nesta was the perfect spot for us! If you’re looking for a perfectly appointed house, with breathtaking views, peace and quiet, a friendly and helpful host, and easily navigable roads to and from local beaches and restaurants, look no further. We especially loved the gorgeous back deck and the tranquility of the outdoor shower. We had one full day of rain this trip, which we took as an opportunity to stay in, relax, and simply appreciate the seascapes all around us. We will absolutely be back!

Sophie’s Place is a slice of absolute paradise! We stayed for two weeks with a 4 day jaunt to JvD for a weeding. It’s located on a quiet and almost private bay called Long Bay. It was a quick 20 min ride to the main grocery with a smaller grocer, with a load of options in Sopers Hole, just a few minutes away. If you’re a gym buff I do rec getting the Long Bay gym pass for an unlimited month. Definitely worth it. The spa was lovely also. The best part, both are just a few steps from your door. We cooked quite a bit and had everything we needed for delicious healthy meals. I do rec brining an eye mask as the sun rises early and the bedroom becomes bright quickly, if you’d like to sleep past 6:30. Using the beach equipment across the street was an added bonus - they have surf boards and SUP, beach loungers and umbrella/shades. I would get a rental car if able. Take the ferries to surrounding islands for day trips! Anegada is a must! Virgin Gorda for the Baths. JvD for Bubbly Pool & Foxys

We absolutely loved our stay at Kay's place! This was exactly what we were looking for in a stay on the east end; peaceful, serene, and wonderful views! Hosts were always helpful and responsive, making for a stress-free stay at this total gem of a place. Would stay here again and highly recommend if you are wanting a remote stay on the beautiful east end. Even without air-conditioning, the cool ocean breeze and ceiling fan made for a comfortable evening sleep. Hope to stay again in the future!

As other reviews noted, the drive up was intimidating at first, so a jeep is a must. Kim met us in Coral Bay and we followed her up, but once we went up and down it was easy. The view of the sunrise is incredible, and it's remote enough that we didn't see another person the whole time we were there. Skinny Legs is at the bottom of the hill and we went there multiple times, Lime Out is nearby and is also a must. Most beaches are about a 15-20 minute drive; Kim had several recommendations. We'll very likely be back within the next year or so.

Maya's place was the perfect place for us to stay as a couple. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped and even included a couple of coolers to bring to the beach if you wanted. The AC worked great, it was completely quiet (except for the birds) and really just all-around comfortable place. Internet access worked great for streaming at night, it was easy to find and very private. We'd stay here again if we come back to St John.

We highly recommend Stu’s place. We stayed two nights after a sailing trip and loved the location, the garden, and the apartment. The studio lives large because it is smartly designed with all the amenities needed. The views are amazing. We would definitely stay again!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful Emma's place was. The views cannot be beat. At first we thought we would be far away from everything, and that was not the case. Beaches, hikes, food stores were easy to get to. The apartment was a wonderful place to end our days. The kitchen had all you needed and eating on the porch every evening was wonderful. The "studio" felt so spacious with all of the windows. Waking up to the water view and seeing all the small lights in the hillside at night was a treat. Emma was responsive with all of our questions. The road to the apt is really not that bad, we loved all the goats we would see every day. We would return in a heartbeat. Caroline& John
