Carey was very welcoming and engaging. She put fresh baked cookies in the room and they were delicious! The room was spacious and comfy. There is a full kitchen, washer and dryer, etc. This felt like home to me. Again, Carey (and her hub Tony) were friendly, engaging, and interesting prople! The room is within walking distance from downtown and a few restaurants (the Mexican place has good menu including a surprising selection of seafood). And, it is a short drive to Abingdon if you want to enjoy some local history and cool shops.

We loved the Flanagan Lodge! I traveled with family including 3 children ages 9-5. No one really wanted to leave. It’s very well appointed. Lots of updated things very high tech. He’s really thought of everything to make this a nice space! We all loved the deck it was a great place to sit unplugged and just enjoy peaceful nature. The beds were super comfy nothing felt cheap very nice linens and towels! This place is close to town where there’s restaurants and shopping. It’s a lovely location easy to find with GPS! Joseph was a wonderful host. I can’t say enough good things about Joseph and this hidden gem I’d give 10 stars if I could! We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay! So peaceful and host was great. Fire pit was great! Clean and tidy. We had all we needed! We did have a little trouble with the door on the key pad to get the key out of the lock box, but that was minor. Thanks for a great stay!

Mary and Rick's place is just as described. This unit is in a Church building which made it even better for all of us. Many trails can be accessed from here. Great place to stay for multiple couples with each having their own space. Mary has a trailer right in the lot selling the best ice cream. You won't go wrong renting this space.
