This is a private building near the main farmhouse with its own living space, kitchenette, bathroom, and loft bedroom (queen).

A spacious kitchen features warm wooden cabinetry and modern appliances, including a refrigerator and oven. Ample counter space is provided, along with a large sink. Natural light streams in through multiple windows, illuminating the inviting workspace.

Quiet area with a lot of area around the property to park vehicles or boats. 5 acres around the house if your pets need to stretch their legs. Located 8 miles from wilson lake if you enjoy boating, swimming , fishing, or just enjoy being around the lake. Nice local cafe, and service station with a small grocery area. Laundromat a block away. Local liquor store and a theater. If your into art there are a couple art attractions in town also the garden of eden. Firepit area coming this spring!

This place was such a nice change in pace! It was beautiful being out in the country, lovely sunsets and sunrises, and so peaceful. The house was spacious and had more than we needed for our family of 7. The kitchen had everything for cooking. Kristy was very kind and responsive. We'd definitely stay again!

The place is so great and just as fun as the pictures. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had just what we needed for a dinner and breakfast and the wifi was easy and fast. The listing described a futon, which we were hoping to use for our kids to share, and when it turned out to be just a small couch the local host came over to check it out and offered to move us to a different unit so we would have enough beds. We ended up staying and squeezing our kids in - the bed was super comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful touches and awesome host and would stay again if a sleep sofa or futon was added for that extra sleeping space!

Great place for us to stay for Fort Hays graduation! Responsive host and clean accommodations! If we need a place in the Russell area we will seek Traci’s places out!

I travel all over with my husband and toddler for art shows and this was one of the most perfect little houses for our needs that we have ever stayed in. The fenced in yard was a huge bonus for our daughter, they had very thoughtful touches like free Disney on the TV and kids games and books, the beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was full of absolutely everything one could ever need, it was clean and cozy and the price was right! On top of that the hosts were very kind and generously allowed us a free late checkout after we and some car trouble and needed to use their covered garage (another bonus!) for a few hours longer on the last day. Can’t say enough, highly recommend!
