Arc en France, L'Ecurie

CarlRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We had an absolutely wonderful visit to Pieter’s gite, it having everything we could need, spotlessly clean and in the most beautiful and peaceful setting surrounded by wild flower meadows. Pieter and Marjon were the best hosts, very warm and friendly, always happy to help and providing us with wine and dinner on arrival and some essentials in the fridge. It was a 20/25 minute walk to the lake at Sussac which was great for relaxing and swimming. The closest town with a supermarket is a short drive away so a car is needed.
An exterior view of the stone house is shown, featuring a wooden deck with steps leading to the entrance. Two chairs are positioned on the deck, and a rustic door is framed by a wooden overhang. The landscape is adorned with gravel and grass.

Peaceful country house

A beautiful little house in a hamlet with neighbors who welcomed us warmly, a very nice environment... in short, a nice week of vacation with our dog who enjoyed walks in the surroundings. Catherine

Marc's House in Maine: country chic

CassandraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at La Maine was wonderful. Catherine and Maxence are excellent hosts, extremely welcoming and warm, but also very respectful of privacy. The cottage is impeccably decorated and comfortable -- we cooked a couple of meals after shopping at the farmer's market, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. Cubjac is small, but inviting -- be sure to go to the bakery, to the farmer's market, and to the Tabac for aa coffee. Catherine and Maxence had great recommendations for restaurants and outings -- every one of their suggestions was 100%. Our only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! Thank you to our new friends in Cubjac -- and Lila and Iris, of course.
A wood-burning stove is positioned against a rustic brick and stone wall, providing warmth with a glowing flame. Above the stove, a framed painting of a horse is displayed. A round wooden table made from a tree stump is visible in the foreground, enhancing the natural ambiance.

Villa Maria Farmhouse

Philippe's house is located in a very quiet area. It is as described and we had a very pleasant stay. The presence of the stove (lit when we arrived) is a real plus, and we were also able to enjoy the outdoors in an environment where only the birds can be heard! The dog also enjoyed the vacation on the large fenced property. Excellent!

The Toffee Hut" with Pool & Jaccuzi in Dordogne

AniaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Everything is there for a great stay! Beyond the availability and kindness of Carole and Gérald, the Hutel is a place I recommend without restriction. The caravans are certainly small but very functional, pleasantly furnished and very comfortable (and air-conditioned!). For disconnecting or visiting the region, the advantages of the site are very appreciable: Jacuzzi, swimming pool, table tennis and petanque, not to mention the outdoor lounge and table to enjoy nature and birdsong. Can't wait to come back.

Grand gite de la Ribière, rated 4* up to 15 people

CecileRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a pleasant stay in a comfortable and peaceful place. Everything is there, including games for all ages. A big thank you to Vincent and Stéphanie for their availability and congratulations on this cottage. One small downside, the pool is not heated (it's very fair in mid-May) A small point that could perhaps be considered to aim for perfection.
