Saartje and her husband are fantastic hosts who made me feel at home throughout my stay. They’re a warm and attentive couple who go above and beyond for their guests. The house is entirely independent, very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything needed. The kitchen has all essentials, the bright living room offers stunning views of nature, and waking up to see the beautiful white mare in the adjacent field is a true delight. The bed is spacious and comfortable, and the peace and quiet are unmatched. This tranquil location in Waanrode makes it easy to visit cities like Diest, Sint Truiden, Tienen, Leuven, and even Brussels, just 50 km away. I stayed here for a peaceful work retreat, and it exceeded my expectations. The combination of serenity and excellent connectivity makes it perfect for any kind of trip. I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful week I spent and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful oasis!

Very pleasant reception, the hostess and host are very attentive to the guests and their comfort. The accommodation part of the house is in perfect order: everything is comfortably furnished, very cozy and quality interior where a visitor immediately feels at home. Lots of brochures and reading material available where you can find everything to explore the region thoroughly. Recommended, and as far as we are concerned, worth repeating.
