Lovely house

The house is spacious and comfortable, located in nature at the foot of the hiking trails. No need to take the car to go hiking: the courses pass close to the house. Access is not easy the first time, we were accompanied there from Baske Ostarije hostel. However, the sea is not far away and accessible in less than half an hour (Karlobag). Access to the island of Pag, another atmosphere and landscape, is easy by ferry from Prizna (20 minutes from Karlobag).

Wooden house, Sveti Rok, Croatia

A very enjoyable stay in a magical wooden house! A cheerful welcome with hosts with homemade brandy. The possibility of ordering breakfast and dinner is a big advantage of this property and I highly recommend it. During our stay, we ordered two dinners and two breakfasts. The landlady prepared a plentiful homemade Lika breakfast as we were greeted for dinner by a huge baking with veal and lychee potatoes the size of a hand, and a roeze stew with homemade bread noodles. All ingredients are from domestic farming from local OPGs. The house has a huge outdoor pool, roast/barbecue, jacuzzi on the terrace, and a pool and football table on the ground floor. A friend from a host has the option to rent a bike and an ATV/Quad vehicle (LikaBike). There are ceramic caves nearby, which I highly recommend visiting. If you'd like to buy/order local potatoes, I would definitely recommend visiting the agro largebit website :) Overall my wife and I will be back with Marina and Goran :)
The exterior view showcases a charming house surrounded by tall trees and well-maintained greenery. A gravel driveway leads towards the entrance, bordered by a black wooden fence. The property includes a green waste bin, and a sense of privacy is provided by the surrounding natural landscape.

Plitvice Lakes - CHALET MIA - House

SteveRating, 5 stars9 months ago
lovely place, detached in it's own wide plot, surrounded by... well almost nothing and no-one. Very peaceful. Slightly quirky to these British eyes, but our family of 5 (adults) just about fitted it. Impressive BBQ area, as was the rest of the outdoor area. I think there's 4 different places for us all to eat together. plenty hot water. Good air con. Lots of cutlery and bowls and cooking stuff + oils and condiments. If you're not brand fussy, there's everything you need for washing hair and body. Only need toothpaste and toothbrush! Plitvice is only 15mins drive, so you can get there when it opens and have the place to yourself for a couple hours which is VERY worth it! Gojko recommended the local Bistro Vila Velebita, at which we enjoyed an excellent introduction to Croatia food and hospitality. Note: lounge seating is not that comfortable. Also some dexterity is needed to reach the double bedroom upstairs. But we loved the place!
A wooden cottage is showcased, featuring a sloped roof and gabled windows. The front porch is accessible by steps, leading to a landscaped area with a circular stone garden bed surrounded by green grass and trees. Sunlight filters through the foliage.
