Cottage vacation rentals in Ligurian Sea

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage for nine nights. Villa Alta is in a beautiful location and the grounds around the house are so well maintained. We enjoyed both the shared pool and our own private terrace with hot tub. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. It was a perfect base for us to explore the area. Raffaella was so friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the villa on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

!!! Verstecktes Juwel der Toskana !!! Meine Freundin und Ich hatten einen der besten Urlaube überhaupt an diesem wundervollen Ort abseits der Touristen-Hochburgen. Wir wurden bei unserer Anreise unglaublich herzlich von der Gastgeberfamilie persönlich in Empfang genommen. Kurz noch zur Info: Molly selber ist hier nur eine Art Agentur aus UK, mit der man vor Anreise Kontakt hat. Vorort waren wir dann mit der Gastgeberfamilie in Kontakt und wurden von ihnen sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Für den perfekten Start in unseren Urlaub wurde uns eine selbst gemachte Antipasti Platte, frisches Obst, ein Kuchen und eine Flasche Wein überreicht. Als wir dann noch eine ausführliche Führung durch das Anwesen bekamen, kamen wir aus dem Strahlen garnicht mehr aus. Es war einfach alles unglaublich schön und mit so viel liebe zum Detail für uns vorbereitet worden. Angefangen mit dem Poolberreich welcher mit den verschiedenstens Sitz-, Liege- und Chill-Gelegenheiten ausgestattet ist. Natürlich darf die Feuerschale nicht vergessen werden, welche für einen gemütlichen und romantischen Abend einfach perfekt ist. Dazu kommt der atemberaubende Ausblick über Castiglione di Garfagnana und die dazugehörende Natur. Für uns persönlich war der Pizzaofen und die dazugehörige Grillstation ein absolutes Highligt. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Es ist super sauber, top ausgestattet (vor allem die Küche) , das Bett ist wirklich bequem und auch hier möchten wir die liebe zum Detail in allen Räumen wirklich hervorheben. Zudem ist die Umgebung wunderschön, die kleinen Dörfer, die Berge und die Natur kann man einfach nur lieben. Ein perfekter Ort um einfach mal abzuschalten und die Ruhe zu genießen. Am Ende bleibt eigentlich nur zu sagen, dass wir unglaublich froh sind diesen Ort endeckt zu haben, eine Woche dort viel zu kurz war und wir diese Unterkunft mit voller Überzeugung weiter empfehlen können. Eine Woche voller Herzlichkeit, Komfort & tollen Extras Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche bei Delphine und Christophe verbracht – und können mit voller Überzeugung sagen: Sie gehören zu den besten Gastgebern, die wir je erlebt haben. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir mit so viel Herzlichkeit und Großzügigkeit empfangen, dass wir uns sofort willkommen gefühlt haben. Die Unterkunft selbst war top – sauber, durchdacht & liebevoll eingerichtet. Aber was den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht hat, waren all die fantastischen Extras: - ein beheizter Pool, den unsere Kinder geliebt haben - ein tolles Spielzimmer mit Billard und anderen Spielen - und jede Menge Zubehör für Strandtage mit Kindern – von Sonnenschirmen über Spielzeug bis hin zu Kühlboxen – an alles wurde gedacht! Ihre Offenheit, ihr Gespür für Details & ihre Großzügigkeit haben unseren Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen & können diesen Ort wirklich jedem empfehlen!

Sara and Brian are truly amazing hosts—proactive, kind, and fascinating to talk to. Their home is enchanting, like stepping into a real fairytale. You can feel how much love and care they’ve poured into every detail. It’s one of the most spectacular places we’ve ever stayed in! Not only is the house and the garden magical, but it’s also so practical and thoughtfully equipped, providing everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. The gym was fantastic, and the house had plenty of space for two families. Even with 2 adults and 4 “monkeys” (our energetic kids), there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and celebrating New Year’s Eve with fireworks lighting up the entire region was an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Sara and Brian, for sharing your incredible home with us. We can’t wait to return!!!

Appartamento incantevole e ben arredato, con una vista panoramica mozzafiato sulla riviera ligure! La posizione è ideale per godere della bellezza del paesaggio. Claudio, il proprietario, è stato molto disponibile e accogliente. L'appartamento è pulito e confortevole, con tutti i comfort necessari. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca un soggiorno rilassante e piacevole con una vista spettacolare. Grazie Claudio per l'ospitalità!".

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Fantastico casale antico immerso nella natura. Travi a vista e pavimento in pietra. Siamo andati in 10 per festeggiare un 30esimo e abbiamo passato un'ottima weekend. La strada, anche se sterrata, è assolutamente percorribile con macchine comuni, basta andare piano Chiara, vive in una dependance adiacente al casale ma è una persona assolutamente accogliente e discreta

I experienced wonderful days in this beautiful location, which reminded me of the summers I used to spend at my grandparents' house in the countryside. I only realized coming here how much I need to be able to completely switch off and let time just pass enjoying the fantastic views of the Alpi Apuane. That's how I chose to spend my days, but I note that there would be plenty of hiking or driving around to visit the picturesque villages nearby should one wish to explore the surroundings. The facilities were exactly what is required for a few day stay. The hosts (Laura and Silvio) were present when needed, otherwise they left us to enjoy the place. I enjoyed my conversations with them, and loved their pets. About the place itself, it was as described in the listing, and by previous reviews. I just note that in spite of the extreme heat (it is an anomalous year also in this idyllic place), the evenings were fresh and cool, and the temperature inside the cottage was perfect.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une maison cosy, une vue magnifique depuis la chambre, le séjour et la terrasse. Un dépaysement complet au sons des oiseaux. Séverine a été disponible pour organiser au mieux notre séjour, des informations sont laissés concernant les bonnes adresses, activités à faire, ce qui est très appréciable. À refaire. Unser Aufenthalt bei Fulvio und Ornella in ihrem wunderschönen Haus in Moano war einfach unvergesslich! Das liebevoll eingerichtete Haus der Familie versprüht einen ganz besonderen Charme. Jedes Zimmer ist mit viel Herz und zahlreichen familienbezogenen Gegenständen ausgestattet, die dem Haus eine warme und einladende Atmosphäre verleihen. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die tolle Außenküche mit Pizzaofen, die perfekt für gesellige Abende im Freien ist. Der gepflegte Garten mit dem kleinen Pool bietet eine herrliche Oase der Ruhe. Mit drei gemütlichen Schlafzimmern hatten wir reichlich Platz, und der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus in dem kleinen Ort war sehr praktisch. In nur 30 Minuten erreicht man die Küste und den Hafen von Imperia – perfekt für Tagesausflüge ans Meer oder in die Umgebung. Wirklich ein ganz besonderer Wohlfühlort!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour entre amis (avec ados) chez Alberto. La maison est en elle même synonyme de vacances. La vue splendide, la localisation idéale pour visiter les 5 terres. On gardera un super souvenir des petits déjeuners sur la terrasse fin octobre🤩

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Haus und der Lage. Wir kamen sehr spät an und konnten mit der Schlüsselbox flexibel einchecken. Die Wohnung an dich war sauber und in der Küche war alles an zu finden was man brauchte. Alessandro war eins ehr guter Gastgeber. Er hat uns sehr schnell geantwortet und alle Fragen beantwortet. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!!!

Das Häuschen ist wunderschön, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Es war alles da, was man zum leben braucht. Die Umgebung ist zauberhaft und ruhig, perfekt um sich von Stress im Alltag zu erholen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tutto perfetto! Da Elisa siamo stati molto bene. La casa corrispondeva alla descrizione e aveva tutto quello di cui avevamo bisogno. Avendo un bambino di 1anno e mezzo ci ha fornito tutto il necessario per lui, lettino e seggiolone. Nostro figlio era libero di girare senza problemi e ostacoli. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. Si raggiunge il mare con una brevissima passeggiata. La zona molto tranquilla, massima privacy e parcheggio interno (perfetto per scaricare i bagagli con semplicità). Nelle vicinanze ci sono tutti i servizi necessari. Elisa sempre disponibile per rispondere a tutte le domande con suggerimenti. Torneremo sicuramente ❤️

Le Cince rimarranno sempre nei nostri cuori, le foto e la descrizione non rendono giustizia all'atmosfera che si respira. Cristina è gentilissima ed è impossibile non innamorarsi di tutti gli animali tra oche, cani, gatti e galline che ti intrattengono in ogni momento. La vista, il silenzio ed i paesaggi sono la ciliegina sulla torta. Non fatevi troppi programmi se avete intenzione di venire qui: passare tutto il tempo dalla mattina alla sera 3 giorni di fila lì non ci è bastato. Torneremo sicuramente!

Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt, das Haus ist sehr schön und geräumig. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr über den großen Garten gefreut und wir hatten tolle Tage am Pool. Ilaria ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer schnell erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😊

Absolutely stunning, authentically Italian cottage in the mountains of Tuscany. Rosella was a fantastic and welcoming host. A great spot for exploring Tuscany. The only drawback was the very steep hill - pack your trainers/ walking shoes.

Authentiek Italiaans verblijf in de heuvels van Toscane. Fivizzano is op rijafstand, hier vind je leuke cafés en restaurantjes. Er is ook een kleine supermarkt met een ruim aanbod aan streekproducten en hoge kwaliteit groenten en fruit. Het zwembad was heerlijk en begin juni al goed te doen qua temperatuur. Communicatie met de host was top, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Auto is wel een must.

Wir haben ein paar wunderbare Tage in Cessole verbracht. Wir haben uns gleich willkommen und zuhause gefühlt. Cornelia & Paul sind tolle Gastgeber. Alles bestens. Herzlichen Dank und auf bald.

Elisa, you made our honeymoon a dream! Prior to the stay she sent us lots of information, pictures & voice notes to help with all our queries! We drove down to Santa Margarita after getting married in the lakes, it rained so I asked her if there was a dry cleaners who could clean my dress and my husbands suit and she took them straight after directing us to the property (it is beautiful and peaceful what we needed after a hectic social wedding!) Her husband helped carry our bags and they both were so friendly and have the most beautiful restaurant we had the pleasure of visiting! They left us a gorgeous bottle of wine on arrival which we drank whilst opening cards by the pool, and brought us stunning meats and cheese with olive oil made from the olive tree we sat under -just beautiful! Each morning Elisa left warm croissants and fresh fruit on the garden coffee table which was delicious and so thoughtful! Communication was amazing, thank you for everything we were truly sad to leave xx

La communication avec Daria a été très facile et Corrado nous a accueillis très chaleureusement. La maisonnette est très propre, confortable et idéale pour 2 personnes. Nous avons profité du jardin à l'ombre des oliviers, offrant une vue panoramique sur les villages voisins. Aux alentours, les randonnées ou balades sont nombreuses. Cette fois-ci, depuis Lucinasco, nous avons rejoint la Chiesa di Santa Maria Maddalena et découvert la casella di Don Abbo. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Ville San Pietro. Merci Daria et Corrado !

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage – everything was very clean and cozy, and Marco and Max were super friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing. We’d love to come back someday!

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben, ein wunderschönes, ruhig gelegenes Gebäude. Die Gegend ist unbeschreiblich schön und wir haben selten einen derartigen Ort gefunden. Marcella war sympathisch und freundlich. Wir hatten unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen. Die Ausstattung war makellos.
