Family-friendly vacation rentals in Liguria

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home. Never stayed in a castle before...and it was awesome! It is full of history and charm, with a family feel. We spent a good amount of time out on the stone deck enjoying wine and the great views. We also enjoyed simply walking around the inside and looking at the old paintings and decorations. It is great when an Airbnb goes beyond being just a place to sleep and instead becomes a big part of the overall travel experience. The castle is modernized in the important ways, but the host does go out of his way to portray it accurately in the full description. Also, it is a bit outside of town and so it may be best to have a vehicle during your visit. The host was extremely responsive when I had a couple of questions, and the arrival/check in process was made easy with an in-person meeting when we arrived. We also had an amazing dinner at the restaurant they recommended. Overall, this was an exceptional Airbnb and I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay, it felt like being at home! The location was perfect, very central and accessible to sightseeing and restaurants. The host, Angela, was very friendly and super responsive, with great greeting and shared a lot of suggestions. Everything went very smoothly and no issues. Highly recommended :)

Perfect apartment for our vacation of 6 days. Everything was like description! Albert response very quickly and helped wirth everything, The apartment was very close to beach and city center, also the apartment was large, very clean, the kitchen is full equiped. You will not regret if you choose this acomodation!

This apartment is located at the Corniglia bus stop - so it’s easy to take the bus up and skip those 377 steps if you want! The apartment has a lovely terrace with beautiful views of the Mediterranean, comfortable furniture, and air conditioner units in every room. The only thing to be aware of is: if you like to shower, that is a bit difficult in the jacuzzi as the ceilings are low (but if you like bathing it’s a cozy tub with a cool sunroof which opens for ventilation)

Nice little cottage located in the middle of nature Carlo and Roberto are very nice and welcoming. With nice little touches Perfect for going green! We enjoyed our living space for the duration of the stay, the accommodation is well-equipped and has a deckchair and a table for eating on the terrace I highly recommend it, a real change of scenery! In addition, the place is located near the beach, 15 min walk Feel free to rent a scooter in Diano Marina to fully enjoy the coasts and not get too tired on the climbs ;) If you want to be in a different setting and quiet, this is the perfect place.

We loved our stay so much! Beautiful house and surroundings :) Borgo Val Di Taro is also a cute village to visit for ice cream, food and a good playground for our small kids! Thanks a lot for everything! We wish to come back in the future!

Very nice house overlooking the beautiful hills of Monferrato; it corresponds exactly to the photos, it is very clean and offers many services (washing machine and dishwasher, in the kitchen there is everything you need to cook - and even more, including electric whisks and immersion blender! - various condiments and spices, various pots and pans, knives and cutting boards, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and milk frother, and everything you need to clean the house - plus iron with ironing board and clothes rack). The road to access it is slightly winding but going slowly you get there without problems and the hosts were super responsive to messages; kind and very helpful but not intrusive. If you are a fan of cats, this is the place for you because there are 4 sweet fur balls that love cuddles! I'd love to go back for another weekend getaway. Recommended!

The house is very spacious and extremely clean. We were two couples of friends and we had the utmost privacy. The location is excellent for exploring the villages of the Langhe. Helena and Mauro are exceptional hosts. The private wine tour that Mauro offered us was an unforgettable experience.

We absolutely loved our stay in Castè — it was a magical place. Peaceful, beautiful views, an inviting courtyard with fairy lights and fireflies. The apartment was clean and filled with antique furniture and lovely details. Gianni and Antonella were very accommodating, meeting us at check in and showing us everything to ensure we were comfortable. They also spent the first 30 minutes, explaining sites to see in Cinque Terre, where to eat, park the car, and some insider tips. We felt right at home and can't wait to go back!

Gianluca and Marilena were amazing hosts who have the most amazing apartment located in the beautiful village of Casté. With the view of mountains and the sound of nature surrounding us, we couldn't of asked for a better way to spend our week in Italy. Definitely recommend renting a car as makes it much easier to access and gives you a great option to view other surrounding areas alternatively to Cinque Terre. Brilliant options of walking direct from the property to Riomaggiore and Porto Venere. They also recommended some incredible restaurants to visit. We definitely would love to return here one day.

Just spent a very special week at Villa Rosa with my husband,sons, and daughters-in-law. It was a magical house and we felt so at home and comfortable. We cooked one night and ate out on the patio with the incredible view of the city and canyon below. What made it so easy was the generous communication with Patricia. She was great. We fell in love with Camogli. Yes, there are lots of steps down to town, but it’s delightful! Bring your walking shoes! We’d love to come back!

Enrico was a great host. Always on hand but still gave us good space to enjoy the property. He was helpful when we had an emergency too. Nice property in the hills

Super clean apartment and wonderful view. It's worth all 4 floors to do on foot without an elevator. Despite being in a street full of bars and restaurants, in the house you only hear the sound of the waves, the seagulls, the swallows and the church bells right in front. We will certainly return.

Marco’s place is the perfect for a La Spezia stay. It’s just a short and easy walk from the train station. The directions were clear and step-by-step instructions were beyond helpful. The apartment is very tidy and far more spacious than the pictures let up. We were a group of 4 adults and one child and were able to walk around freely without feeling crammed. The washer was also very useful. We couldn’t figure out if it was a washer/dryer combo, but there is ample space in the back to hang dry clothes. Marco had stocked some treats which were much appreciated, especially during rushed mornings to make excursions. We were a bit surprised by the bed situation. There are in fact two double beds, but one of them is in the living room (sofa bed) while the remaining bedroom has two twin beds. Overall it worked out and we would stay here again and recommend it as a place for friends and family visiting the area. It was our favorite place of our entire trip!

This place is quaint, authentic and makes you feel right at home. It was the most comfortable and I-feel-like-a-local-esque Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Federicas home made my trip to Europe actually sink in and feel real. She so kindly offers her actual home for people to stay in to truly enjoy their trip to Genoa. Marta, Federica’s cohost, was the host kind and welcoming and warm presence as she let us in and gave us the grand tour. I cannot recommend this spot enough. Wonderful location, authentic homey vibes, and wonderful people. 10/10

Nice and calm Apartment with a great view next to La Spezia. You have so many different options what you can do e.g. - you can visit different beaches, you Can go hiking, you Can start trips to La Spezia, Cinque Terre or even Pisa - its only one hour with the car. We stayed for one week and we recommend this Apartment!

I cannot describe in words how beautiful and amazing our stay was, but I will try. The location: Beautiful place. House located uphill but there are buses from the centre (close to the beach) that leaves you close to the house. We just walked uphill each day and cooled off in the pool later ;) Sergia was kind enough to offer picking us up from the centre a few times too but the walk is quite nice. The house: Exactly as described and as in pictures. Serene garden, cute pool, well stocked kitchen and cozy interiors. This villa comes with a terrace with a sea view, a beautiful front garden. The other villa has a slightly larger front garden. Since no one was in the other villa, Sergia let us go in there as well. There is a common garden out front with the pool. Everything was beautiful and cozy. The hosts: Sergia and Orso were so kind, I cannot explain it. Sergia baked us some cake and cut us some fruit. Because we were late to get there, Orso even went grocery shopping for us.

A beautiful home with the best airbnb kitchen we've experienced. The outside space is fantastic with a wonderful garden full of stunning plants and useful herbs. We were given some fresh lemons which really took the G&Ts up a level!! Garage is perfect for a car but everywhere is walkable. FULLY recommend this property to anyone thinking of staying in Rapallo.

What a place! Fantastic penthouse high up on the mountain with magically beautiful and expansive views in all directions. We will miss the large terrace and, of course, the rooftop pool! Camogli is a cozy seaside resort and it was also easy to get around and visit the nice surroundings. We had a rental car but also public transport (bus and train) worked great. Angelo and Tomasso were very good hosts - nice reception and always quick responses. We've had a wonderful vacation here and will gladly come back!

We spent two nights on the boat and enjoyed the time very much. Corrado and his whole family are very hospitable, gave us a very nice welcome with aperitif on the boat and brought a great breakfast in the morning. The best thing was the boat trip, which we also booked with Corrado! Our children and we had a great time and it was a unique experience!

It’s hard to find the words to describe our stay at Villa San Lorenzo. I came with a group of family and friends, kids aged 8-13. The villa is so beautiful, nicely updated while maintaining Italian charm, the most gorgeous location, and the perfect place to make special memories. Clay and Erika were extremely helpful with planning activities like wine tasting and a special cooking class. They gave so many amazing recommendations for places to go, and everywhere we went people smiled and raved about him when they knew Clay sent us. It couldn’t have been better, from start to finish. We all had the best experience and we hope to return again!

A beautiful spot in the absolute serenity of nature. The nearest town of roses, Bosalasco, was a stunning surprise. Paola is a lovely woman who will do everything to accommodate you, gentilissima as they say here. We were two couples with a 2-year-old child and our days spent barbecuing, playing ping pong, swimming in the pool, and putting the world to rights over some local wine were memories we'll forever cherish. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks, Paola.

A great apartment in fab location. Carla was extremely helpful and responsive. Loved enjoying coffee and wine on the balcony. Pool opening times need to observed, they depend on the time of the year. Convenient parking. A lovely stay, would happily return.
