Villa vacation rentals in Liberia

This home was perfect for our group of six! The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. Being able to do laundry was super helpful given we are traveling for two weeks with carry ons only. The host was very responsive and helpful during our whole stay! During our three night stay we easily got to see three beaches in the area! The only downside to this was the drive in to the property. While the home is in a gated community the drive there is through and underdeveloped area of guanacaste with unpaved roads with huge potholes. We had 4 wheel drive so it wasn’t a huge deal. This stay was still definitely worth the price!

This place was incredible! Very clean and spacious. The pool was a great touch. It’s close to town and walkable if you don’t mind a small hill. We saw lizards, monkeys, and a lot of birds right outside! Will definitely be staying here again.

We had such a great stay at the lodge traveling with our 4 month old. The main room is very comfortable and the crib worked out well. It also has a fridge in the room. The kitchen is outdoors and well stocked. There is a shared, salt water pool, which is very comfortable. We were also lucky enough to see a family of monkeys passing by one morning. The surroundings in general and stunning and very relaxing. Stephane and Sonia are very welcoming and personable. They had great tips and also served a great (optional) breakfast.

Wij hebben hier een week verbleven met onze peuter en het was heerlijk! Het huis is heel schoon en heel goed uitgerust, aan alles is gedacht! Goed uitgeruste keuken; wasmachine en faciliteiten om schoon te maken, uitgebreid beddengoed, handdoeken en doeken voor het strand. Echt heel comfortabel en prettig, zeker met een gezin! Ik raad deze accommodatie zeker aan voor families met kleine kinderen. Het huis is ruim en smaakvol ingericht. Ook het contact met de host verliep goed en makkelijk, ze reageren heel snel en zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Iets om rekening mee te houden is dat de grotere supermarkten wat verder weg zijn (30 minuten rijden ongeveer) dus bijvoorbeeld op de dag van aankomst is het verstandig vooraf boodschappen te doen. Het huis ligt een beetje afgelegen, maar er zijn genoeg mooie stranden en leuke restaurantjes vlakbij!

We stayed in the villa for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The villa is clean and the location is fantastic. We enjoyed having the beach and pools in easy walking distance. The place is very quiet and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The view from the upper pool and restaurant is incredible. The town of Playa Hermosa is very walkable from the resort, with many choices for food and drinks. Ronald was very attentive and communicative. We will absolutely be coming back.

We loved our stay at Villa Sashimi and hope to come back soon! We loved to be surrounded by nature yet very near to the beach, super markets and restaurants. The house is very comfortable and clean, and the property grounds are beautiful!

Great views. The top of the world pool within the community has unbelievable views at sunset. You’ll need to drive a little ways to get to many of the beaches but there are lots of options. House was comfortable and worked great for large group.

We had the best family vacation at Casa Lulu! Kate ensured that everything was perfect for our stay. She even had everything we needed for my 15 month old nephew! She was very communicative and gave us great recommendations for everything we needed for a great trip!! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and host!!

If you are looking for a wonderful condo, in a scenic and relaxing location with access to a little adventure, this is the right place for you. Playa Flamingo is a quiet and beautiful beach with both big and small waves depending on the time of the day. This condo community is also quiet while offering so many amenities. The staff are amazing and you never have to fight for chairs. The salt water pools and beach are just steps away from your condo. Dania is the perfect host. She planned our airport transportation, golf cart rental, surf lessons, fishing charter, and waterfall hike. Everyone was there (even early) when she said they would be. Costs were upfront. Dania really made this the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Better than an all inclusive in my opinion. Rent a golf cart and easily access restaurants and grocery stores. Food prices are high in the area. We have 2 kids, 12 and 15 years old, and all four of us can't stop talking about what a wonderful vacation we had.

Everything you expect. Great home, great host. Very clean, nice pool. Excellent communication. Only the surf teacher that was recomended wasn’t that good but that’s not on the host in my opinion.

Patricia’s home was precisely what our group was looking for in Costa Rica—spacious enough for 9 people (including two couples), private and safe, full of amenities look cooking supplies, and responsive hosts. Patricia and Susan were more responsive than any host I’ve ever stayed with. They messaged us on Airbnb and other apps for ease of communication, and check-in, which was a breeze, included a tour with the property manager. They also connected us with the most trustworthy, affordable, high-quality transportation and tour company. The property was safe, well air conditioned, comfortable, and easily accessible. If our group finds ourselves in Guanacaste again, we’d love to return to Casa Bella Tortuga once more. You made my partner’s birthday and PhD graduation celebrations all the more special. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay at the villa. The view was absolutely breathtaking and we loved lounging by the pool. Although a car is advisable for this area, the drive to beaches and stores was quick and easy. Would certainly recommend and stay here again!

After relocating from a disappointing rental, we struck gold with Casa Ruby! While our previous place lacked essentials and a safe pool, this home was perfect for our group (2 couples, 3 kids). The unique layout gave everyone their own bedroom and bathroom - a luxury when traveling with family. The stunning pool was immaculate with plenty of toys. We loved the outdoor space for morning coffee and the convenient BBQ and outdoor fridge for poolside drinks. The recent renovations show in every detail - luxe furnishings and incredibly comfortable beds with hotel-quality linens made sleeping heavenly. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and the living room offered games and a TV. Location is ideal - 8-minute walk to the night market and Little Lucha's amazing tacos, 15 minutes to the beach (or $4 Uber). Thank you Fernando and Valerie for sharing your hidden gem. Truly a dream home away from home - we hope to return!

Chateau Mar Vista is a fantastic stay, this is my second time there! It’s in a private community with a 24/7 guard at the gate at the bottom of the hill so feels very safe, and the drive up to the house, with its beautiful ocean views, is easy (just be sure to rent a SUV if you can). The house itself is fantastic, with AC units now in all the bedrooms and central air for the main spaces for comfort which was is all easy to use. The beaches of Hermosa, Coco, and Panama are all short drives away. This area seems to be really picking up steam with new restaurants and activities. Tyler and the Chateau team are highly responsive and happy to make recommendations. Definitely leverage them for making plans, whether that’s a fishing trip, ATVs, or whatever they have great guides they can hook you and your group up with. But just staying in the house, hanging in and around the awesome pool, and spending time with your group cooking or grilling food (there’s a grill by the pool) is great too.

Absolutely great! We had the best time. Wonderful house and pool. Staff were all wonderful.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Villa Guacamaya Azul. We stayed there for our dad's 91st birthday. It is always a challenge to find a place with the required amenities to take care of an elder. But this villa is the exception. My dad had a peaceful time in a spacious room with spacious showers while we were taking care of my sister, who has been his caregiver, with a massage session and walks to the beach for relaxing. Our trip was a success thanks to this amazing place.

We booked very last min to stay at David’s place as we only had a few days left in Costa Rica and wanted to be closer to the airport but not right in town. David responded right away and gave clear instructions on how to get to his place. The studio was very clean and felt very homie. The pool was clean and a great little community pool area with a BBQ. David stopped in on our first day and was very friendly. Craig who lives on the grounds is a great guy for food and beach recommendations. Stores are close by (within walking distance) made for an easy first night to cook dinner. Bed is very comfortable and nice hot shower for the end of the after touring around the local area. Nice a quiet at night to sit and have a beer or morning coffee with the local wild life. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next trip.

We had an amazing stay at casa Bosque. The beach club was a real plus and the location was out of the crowds in tamarindo but close enough to get to everything quickly/easily. Rosa took amazing care of us, she is such a gem! Highly recommend this house when visiting tamarindo!

We had a great stay at Sylvie's place. It's very close to multiple beaches and the pool was amazing. Sylvie was very responsive whenever we wrote and always helpful. The place is very comfortable and has all the "western" amenities. We cooked every meal (for two adults and three small children) with no issue. The kitchen had everything that was needed for cooking full meals. I would definitely not recommend staying here unless you have a car (which we did). You'd be very isolated to the one local beach and pool. With a car, everything you could want is in a 12 minute drive or less.

A stunning property! Upon opening the door we were in awe of the beautiful view and house amenities. While the kitchen, main bedroom and main bed outdoor deck are the biggest highlights is this property…the entire home was perfect for a family of four and we were impressed by all areas. Comfy linens, upscale appliances, spotless surroundings and kind condo staff are just some of the reasons this stay was one of our best of all time. The town of Playa del Coco is within minutes, the black sand beach feels private and pools/restaurant are great. I consider our family particular and this house didn’t disappoint. We can’t wait to come back!

This was my second time visiting Julie’s villa and I’ve got to admit, it was even better than the first! The villa has it all and its location is prime! We had the most relaxing massage at the Peace Retreat which is a minute away, took a short drive to the sights and sounds of Tamarindo and even got surprised by a surfing competition at Playa Negra. The villa itself has all the amenities and Julie and Kyle will never have you waiting if you have a question. We will definitely be back for a third visit. Check this place out!

Sébastien’s home was perfect ! I always pack my own seasonings to cook and extra wash cloth’s , however it was already many available .Myself,fiancé and our 15yr old daughter enjoyed every part of the house. We used the pool daily even during the rain showers 😆We watched movies in the inside bar/living area daily . He even added a few local (Pilsen) beers in the fridge which my fiancé enjoyed . The home was very private and the restaurants near the home were delicious . We went for coffee every morning at the Beach Break Surf Cafe near by and the owners were amazing . The wings at the Las Olas Brewing right on the main road was delicious. El Huerto Playa Grande pizza &dessert was delicious , few beaches were near by. All within walking distance !! However,we did have a rental . Just loved it everything ! Will be returning and 10/10 recommend .Thank You

We have stayed in Bo Jungle's two-bedroom house three (3) separate times in sixteen (16) months, most recently in Aprill 2025. We were there for two weeks the first time and for one week two other times. Our most recent stay was a year after our last and it was perfect again! The Bo Jungle complex of four apartments plus the two-bedroom house is a fantastic creation. It is very secure, very well-made and equipped, and maintained in perfect condition. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the pool a refreshing joy after a hot Tamarindo day. The two-bedroom house has great beds, showers, washer and dryer and a nice kitchen and living space. Bo Jungle started nice and the owners have continued to install subtle improvements that show their pride in their rental. When in Tamarindo/Langosta, we only stay here.
