The cabin is located on Sotra, Liaskjeret, about 25 minutes from Bergen city center. The cabin is modern, at the same time it has a touch of romance. Hiking areas (both mountains and forests) as well as fishing opportunities are nearby. Outdoor areas are nicely landscaped with fruit trees and berry bushes, as well as lawn. Note! Not suitable if you have trouble walking up stairs/path.

Newly renovated home from March 2026. The accommodation is located west facing and has sun all day, there is a sea view where you can see the boat traffic to Bergen. Rural and child-friendly, but at the same time only 15-20 min from Bergen city center by car. Bus stop 100m away. Here, you will find a large garden with several seating areas, a grill, a pizza oven, a hot tub, a fire pan, and 2 fishing rods. Welcome to a real log house, which is built after many hundred year old building desks in Norway. The house has modern facilities on a flat. You will have lovely bed linen, lots of pillows and lots of soft towels. The walls are logs and all floors are solid wood pine floor with heating cables. You can park several cars for free on the property and in the garage and you will be able to enjoy lovely views of the great nature. Bergen is only 25 minutes away. There are 5 beds in the house and 2 mattresses. An experience!

In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.
