The beautiful Hallingdalselva river flows right outside the cabin wall with opportunities for fantastic fishing for trout. When you walk out the door, there are diverse hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity, as well as only a 15-30 minute drive away from mountain peaks, ski resorts, etc. Plenty of space for parking and possibility for paid charging of electric car.

Experience real farm culture in an original halling house with charm. Here you can grind coffee beans in an old grinder and cook on a wood stove if you like. Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens. In the outdoor area there is plenty of room to ski and sled. Popular attractions nearby can be mentioned nesfjellet alpine, golf, nystølkroken cafe, langedrag nature park and endless cross-country ski trails. Everything within a few km by car.

The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and nice tableware, two hotplates and a new refrigerator. Outside there is a cozy space in the sun wall and you have access to a fire pit. Plenty of parking space. A hammock that you can hang up between the trees outside the cabin - for a relaxing afternoon nap, or a night under the open sky. Possible to rent bed linen.

In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

THE CABIN - is a newly built cabin (2024), located in a small cabin area on Oppheimsåsen with quiet surroundings. This is a cabin that is excellent for the large family, or several families. The cabin has a high and modern standard. There are ski slopes right outside, bike path, fishing lake, as well as several mountain hikes nearby. Relax with family and friends in this peaceful residence. The area offers many opportunities for activities in summer and winter. Here you can enjoy skiing and sledding in winter, and cycling and walking in summer. The area has small hilly terrain and spectacular views. The cabin invites you to enjoy cooking and good conversations in social zones. We also have an outdoor hot tub that is heated with a wood stove and can be used all year round. We also have two other cabins in the area, if several families travel together.

You are welcome to stay privately at our home. We give you a simpler alternative. Here there is plenty of room for 2 people. Possibility for 4, but then you will have to sleep in the living room.
