Our home is 53 miles from Harrisburg and 54 miles from State College. 10 minutes from Rt. 322. We live along a main road.We live in a beautiful setting in the country with Shade Mountain in the background. We finished our basement in 2019 and have around 1200 square feet of lovely and modern decor with a full kitchen.A dining table with 2 extra leaves. Large living room with wrap around couch and a regular couch which comes out into a queen bed along with a comfortable recliner.

The wood floors were adorned with quality area rugs, the towels and linens were of excellent quality. The rooms were spacious. The porch was an awesome place to sit and just watch the world go by. We had a wonderful time at the Lazy Bass Lodge! Directions and check in instructions were clear, Landon responded to a question almost instantly, the place was clean and unique. My kids loved walking down to the river and playing pool. They complained that there was no tv at first, but I know for sure they had much more fun without it! Everyone slept comfortably and we appreciated having three full bathrooms. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but there was a Walmart and places to eat only five minutes away. We would be happy to return in the future. Highly recommend!

Great location, short trip to Mifflintown for groceries and essentials. Property in a quiet location with minimal traffic. Good parking. The home is well equipped for staying or using as a base for outdoor activities. Host is very helpful and responsive. Looking forward to a return visit.
