Watermill, Die Bruchmühlen Hiking Room

Die Bruchmühlen is the only working water mill in Bruchhausen-Vilsen, a village 30 km south of Bremen with the oldest railway museum in Germany. In the rolling landscape around the mill, it is wonderful hiking and cycling. The Bruchmühlen was the economic heart of the monastery Heiligenberg, founded in 1219. The mill was first mentioned in 1370. From that time, walls can still be found in the mill building. The mill house, where the guest rooms are, dates back to the 18th century.

Our apartment is located on the 2nd floor above the restaurant "Dümmer Perle" directly on Lake Dümmer See (50 m distance to the water). Enjoy the fantastically beautiful lake view (see photos). In the immediate vicinity (max. 400m) there are restaurants, shopping facilities, an ice cream parlor, surf school & boat rental, a beach bar and an indoor swimming pool.

Located on a quiet dead end street, guests here enjoy absolute privacy and a relaxed atmosphere without unwanted visitors. The house is modern and comfortably equipped and offers everything needed for a relaxing stay. Here, peace and relaxation is paramount in your own retreat. Our house is only a few minutes walk (about 3 min) from the lake / beach.
