It can also be reached within 5 mins by car, the same driving distance to and from The Barony (Baroniet) which is also close to the National Stone Park (Steinparken). Quiet and nice place about 4 km past Strandvik city center. There is a shop-restaurant/pub and a great park. Sand volleyball courts are there too. The house is idyllically located close to the lake. Canoe can be borrowed and the fishing opportunities are good. The boat in the pictures can be used. We also have some bikes that can be borrowed. Aker Solutions Stord, Leirvik Sveis As is a 20 min walk away and a 5 min drive away. The express boat terminal is a 2 min walk away, direct route to Bergen/Flesland. Bus terminal 3 min walk away, direct route to Stavanger, Haugesund.

Auntie Laurentze's house

Unique, small house from 1899 with room for five people. Modern, warm and comfortable, so we keep the comfort, but old enough to keep the charm. There is only one house between Laurentze's house and the cinema. If you want to have breakfast in the green, you can make yourself a coffee in the kitchen, and walk two minutes away in the City Park and enjoy it on a green bench there.

Cozy apartment near Sand city center. Amazing views of fjords and mountains, great hiking area both winter and summer. Great location for day trips to Stavanger and Haugesund, among others. Suitable distance for a stop between Trolltunge and Prekestolen. The apartment is best suited for 2 or 3 people, but has enough space for four for a short stay.

The house is in a peaceful setting by the fjord surrounded by grazing animals. You can easily go fishing with the boat, go hiking or enjoy a quiet evening the hot tub. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå and it is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
