Take it easy at this unique, restful place to stay. You sleep in a great place, away from the inhabited world and on the water. You can enjoy the vast landscape and the tranquility with a beautiful sunset. Experience it for yourself and enjoy the tranquility! From the terrace you can immediately get on the water in one of our canoe's and in the morning there are fresh eggs. We are happy to be able to host guests again after a significant period of renovation. We now live in the back of the yard ourselves.

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

Furthermore, a delicious steam shower and whirlpoollig bath. Close to the beautiful Frisian town of Makkum. The house is equipped with underfloor heating and has a cozy gas fireplace. From the living room you have fantastic views over the IJsselmeer.

In the most beautiful part of Giethoorn, outside the busy tourist area, this unique holiday home is surrounded by nature. With unobstructed views over the water. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1x 2 persons and 2x 1 person bed). There is another 5th bed (1 pers.) on the hall upstairs. We would like to know if you would like to use a sheet package (bed linen & towels). Surcharge is €10,00 p.p. The house is totally renovated. The garden is on the waterfront and the view is amazing! It's located on the best spot in Town.
