Vacation rentals with a kayak in Leelanau County

Wonderful location. Walkable to downtown and hop lot. The surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful. The house is as pictured and was super clean.

Everything at Ashley's place was as described . It was clean and very roomy. We traveled with pets for a wedding in the Traverse City area. The walking trail right behind our place was used every day. I highly recommend this place and would use again if in the area.

Had a great stay here! Place was in great shape, Elizabeth was a proactive and responsive host, and we appreciated the extra touches of coffee, tea, treats!

I really enjoyed staying in Andrew’s place - it’s only a 10 minute walk from all the restaurants and shops in Glen Arbor. There is plenty of space for a family and everything was clean.

The house was perfect for our visit to Northern Michigan. Short drive to both Suttons Bay and Leland. Incredibly relaxing and private home. An all around amazing visit.

We have rented homes for many years and we’ve enjoyed staying at “the Stone” the most! Aside from this home being lovely , quiet and beautifully furnished , having the freedom of being able to wander down the lawn directly onto the beach on Grand Traverse Bay is an utter delight to the senses … And if you’re the perfect guests, she’ll share secrets with you about the local favorites like where to get fish cakes made with lake trout …. Just don’t be here when we want to be here …🤩

This was without a doubt a stunning property. From the beautiful creak and beach in the backyard, to each bedroom and entertainment spaces. The views were incredible, I still cannot comprehend how amazing it was to be on the water but so close to town and the wineries. There was so much to do, we wish we got to stay longer. Tristan was a very great host and was very flexible with our check in and responded very fast to any and all concerns. I will definitely be coming back, especially with some warmer weather to enjoy the beach and campfire.

Melissa was a fantastic host! Super communicative, lots of helpful local instructions! Place was beautiful, and the dock access to the lake was perfect!

Carlie is such a great host! And all of her places are comfortable, clean, close to things yet private. She’s always available to answer questions and help solve problems in a quick manner. We’ve stayed at three of Carlie‘s rentals and love all of them. Have recommended to friends and family

We have stayed at dozens of locations in Glen Arbor over the past 25+ years, and Beechwood ranks at the top. Incredibly peaceful and wonderfully appointed cottage. From coffee in the morning on the patio and (in my opinion) the best view of Big Glen, to bonfires and dinner outside on the dinner table and quiet nights watching the sunset on the incredibly comfortable outdoor furniture made this one of our favorite Glen Lake trips.

Carlie's place is absolutely one of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed in. The two houses and location are beautiful, and we found ourselves wanting to hang out at her place instead of going to some nearby beaches (which are also great). Carlie provided a lot of great amenities that really hit the mark for us: beautiful dock, paddleboard/kayaks, giant splash pad, firepits, floaties, picnic tables, grills (yes, multiple), s'mores fixings and other treats... All in all it made for a great vacation and I hope we return soon!

Eagles Point was an amazing experience. The peninsula location was just breathtaking. There is a neighbor, but you would not know it. Such a perfect up Noth property perfectly located to enjoy the Leelanau peninsula! Sarah was incredibly responsive and friendly!

Beautiful hidden gem right on Lake Michigan. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Felt like home with a relaxed and laid back atmosphere right on the lake. Greg and his wife go above and beyond to make their guests feel most welcomed and provided exceptional customer service. FREE firewood, kayaks and paddleboat was a nice touch along with the 700' of private beach for rockhounding. TRULY MAGICAL! Thank you!

We love the Cedar Lodge. Brian and Julie were very communicative the few times we had to reach out to them. Their welcome manual was comprehensive and helpful about the home, surroundings, rentals, and restaurant recommendations. The views from the home are amazing. The property is large, quiet and pristine. There were lots of water toys such as kayaks, float boards, and a rowboat. The kitchen was well stocked with everything - lots of dishes, silverware, pots/pans, dishtowels, etc. The home was clean and inviting. The ceiling fans provided cool evenings and the beds were comfortable. We hope to return to Cedar Lodge. From grandchildren, parents, and grandparents - we had a ball!

Ky’s house was amazing all in all. Beautiful peaceful place right on the lake. Wonderful for a group or family to hang out. Great deck and access to the water. The sunrise over the lake was unbeatable. Not a long term issue, but there is significant construction from downtown traverse city to the location so the traffic was horrendous at most times. Just something to note for the next couple months I would imagine. Otherwise an excellent location and my family and I have a wonderful time here.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Beaver Tales! The cottage is a peaceful hideaway with incredible views. The home was clean, well-stocked, and had plenty of space for 2 adults, 3 kids under 10, and our small dog. The beach right in front is a mix of rocks and sand as the host described, but with water shoes the swimming was great and we spent hours rock hunting. The drop off is very gradual, perfect for the kids. The water was crystal clear most of the time but can get churned up depending on the wind and waves. There are also perfect sandy beaches within a 5-minute drive in either direction. Elizabeth was very responsive and flexible, and it was a wonderful experience all around. This was our first visit to the island and we'll certainly be back!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Mary Lee and Harrison’s Hideaway! Our amazing mini vacay was made better by Mary Lees hospitality and fresh baked bread! I highly recommend booking this for many reasons… -Location, SO PEACEFUL, yet close to Traverse City. -Lake Leelanau speaks for itself. My son and I are early risers and used the provided kayaks to go fishing before everyone else woke up. Best memories ever for this momma. -Cabin was extremely clean, impeccably decorated and easy to navigate. -Mary Lee is readily available with any concerns or questions. 10/10!!! Thank you, Mary Lee for all the hard work you do for families like us!!!

It ended up just being my husband and I and it was wonderful. We wished we'd been able to stay longer. The hot tub was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable.

Jenny was very welcoming! Great communication throughout the trip. Every amenity was covered and even offered more! Clean place, beautiful lake, had a great trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City.

The cottage and hospitality were fabulous! Jennifer was helpful, accessible, easy to reach, on-site and went above and beyond. This will be on our short list of amazing Northern Michigan vacation properties!

We loved the location. Our daughter and her husband went hiking and biking on nearby trails which they love to do. The cabin was great for me and my husband too. The view was amazing and we enjoyed spending time together on the deck with our little dog. We’d love to visit again. The pizza at Market 22 was so good and it was just across the street. Melanie and Neal were great hosts.

The cottage was perfect place to stay while visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. It was cozy and well decorated with a fireplace to heat the cabin on some cold nights. It was located lakeshore and she provided extra kayaks when asked. Also, we were able to bring our Boston Terrier and we so appreciated that. She enjoyed her stay as well. I would definitely recommend Melanie's cottage when visiting the area.

We want to express our appreciation to Jenny for making our stay exceptional. Her communication was fantastic from start to finish, and the place was spotless and well-prepared when we arrived. We stayed here for our anniversary and used it as a hub for all our activities, including hiking, shopping, and sightseeing in the area. The sunrises from the dock were absolutely breathtaking, and the stars at night were so bright and beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate this place so much. We’ll definitely be back!

Janet is incredible. She was always responsive when our group had any questions. She made the bachelor party that much better. I would recommend her as a great host.
