Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay at the borders of Dordogne/Haute Vienne and Charente to recharge your batteries as a couple or family. Ideal place for walking in the forest and along the river. You will find in the immediate vicinity: An international golf course (3 km), a tennis court (5 km), equestrian center 2 km away, canoeing activity 1/4 hour away (Montbron) and Lake St Mathieu or Verneuil with beach 20 km away. In the fall, lots of mushrooms for mushroom lovers!

Our estate of 14 hectares of garden, meadows and forests, with 2.4 km of landscaped paths will welcome you to Périgord Vert. You will find 2 cottages, 1 of which is perfect for two people. 180 x 200 king size bed. Beautiful fully-equipped living room. Walk-in shower. Large west-facing terrace, with garden furniture and dining table. Direct access to the large heated pool in season. Bathrobes and towels will accompany you to the spa (jacuzzi and sauna). In this cozy and spacious apartment of more than 50 m², dating from around 1640, it is wonderful to stay. Thanks to the authentic, thick natural stone walls, it stays wonderfully cool in the summer. Towels, bedding and kitchen towels are already waiting for you, and you are welcome to make free use of our garden and natural swimming pond. And of course: everyone is welcome with us. We are LGBTQI+-friendly and believe in a place where everyone feels free and at home!

Comfortable treehouse cabin. Located in the countryside, in a wooded area, the cabin is 3 minutes from all amenities (bakery, organic grocery store, supermarkets, frozen food store...) and 3 minutes from the heart of Saint-Junien, (weekly market on Saturday morning, covered halls, bars, restaurants, doctors, hospital...). It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

Machupicchu Alpaca Farm Stay

In the heart of our alpaca farm come and discover this fascinating camelid . Animal lovers will be able to cuddle the donkeys, goats, miniature horses and sheep black nose of the Valais in complete freedom , while fishing enthusiasts can practice carp and pike on our 3 ponds. A private tour of the farm as well as the feeding of the alpacas for 1 hour will be offered. You can live a special and unforgettable moment of zen next to our alpacas .

Le Moulin Gite

Le Moulin is a self contained gite next to the pretty river Bandiat. It sleeps up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms. Guests enjoy a large private kitchen and living space and an en suite bathroom with every room. A cot may be added. Dogs are welcome for a charge of 10€ per night per dog. Le Moulin gite has a seating/BBQ area outside and access to the 8ha of grounds. There is a large woodburner downstairs and electric heating in the bedrooms.

Warm cottage + pool - 4 people

Charming little cottage for 4 people, well equipped in unspoiled nature - comprising a cellar-level kitchen/dining room, living room on the ground floor with 2 sofas + screen and upstairs 2 double bedrooms and a shower room. Great place to recharge...but if you can't drop your computer, don't worry, you have access to wi-fi! Parking area in front of the cottage and a stone's throw away, use of the shared salt pool (9 m x 4 m).
