Located in lower Normandy, our self catering cottage is surrounded by sweet little villages with shops, outdoor markets & more. Plenty of brocantes in the area for those who love to thrift. Mont St Michel is just under an hour & the WWII beaches are 1.5 hrs away. Just down the road is a family friendly entertainment park open in summer months only. Plus wonderful orchards to visit for a calvados tasting.

HALLOTIERE NORMANDY. A pretty, 3 bedroom (plus a small double bed - extra charge), south facing Gite in a peaceful setting with beautiful country views. English and french television and WiFi are available and the kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine. We have a shared heated swimming pool (OPEN 2nd MAY UNTIL THE 14TH OF SEPTEMBER). Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Le Placitre is set in the heart of the regional pottery district where in the 19th century the village of Ger had a pottery industry employing 700 workers. This renovated house sits in an acre and half of land and provides a basis from which you can enjoy the riches of Normandy. There are a number of activities for children in Normandy: theme parks, zoos together with the famous Normandy battlefields, D-Day beaches and museums.

Gite Belle Vue

In the countryside 3.5km outside of Sourdeval this house offers a great base from which to explore all that Normandy has to offer. The house features two bedrooms, each with comfortable double bed and private bathroom. There is a light filled kitchen and down the spiral staircase there is a large open plan living and dining room with a log burner. Outside there is a patio surrounded by a large garden, complete with barbecue area, a hot tub and an indoor heated pool . On site parking.

Gîte Four à Pain

Relax, at this carefully renovated old farm boulangerie, surrounded by Normandie countryside. Visit the waterfalls at Mortain, Hill 314 and the petit chapel celebrating 80 years of liberation in 2024. Close to the Parc National, Domfront, Villedieu les poêles and Avranches Easy access to Mont Saint Michel, Jullouville and Granville all under one hour. Ferry ports at Saint Malo and Caen 90 minutes, Cherbourg 2 hours. Pit stop, short break or longer stay, comme tu veux.

The 17th Century Manor House

Set in the picturesque village of Villechien within easy reach of the market towns of Mortain and Saint Hilaire Du Harcouet. This charming Manoir was built in 1743 and has been sympathetically renovated, still retaining many of the original features. The charming accommodation is available for bookings up to 4 people. A breakfast basket can be ordered and dropped in for the morning at an additional cost. Please let us know before arrival if you would like details.

5 minutes from the forest, lake and river at Fosse Arthour, 2 bdr cottage for people who love nature and animals on a horse farm Normandy. Open garden, patio and parking spot next to the house. The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.

Ideal for walkers with the GR22 nearby; for cyclists with greenways to reach Mt St Michel (55 km) and with a garage for bicycles; for climbing with the small waterfall site; beaches 55 km away.
