Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

What a fabulous gite in a wonderful location to explore the best of the Dordogne. 10 minutes from Terrasson, a beautiful old town on the river, spoilt for choice for great restaurants… or simple chilled evenings taking in the views. Jenny (& Fleur) is the perfect host, going above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay. Not intrusive but if you a fancy a glass of wine she will be on hand! (thank you for ours) We would return in a heartbeat and hopefully soon. Would highly recommend.

We had a great week at Olivier's cottage - the place is beautiful, peaceful and very well-equipped. It matches the photos and description perfectly. Olivier was very responsive and his information was very clear and helpful. I teleworked and the wifi connection is impeccable. Lots of places to visit nearby such as Puy l'Evêque, Cahors, Pech Merle Cave, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and many more! Walks in the vineyards are very pleasant as is the Jacuzzi at the end of the day with a view of the forest :) We can only recommend this cottage and thank Olivier and Fabienne for the perfect provision of their accommodation. We had a wonderful stay at april and max’s (4 adults and a 1 and 4 year old). The house is in a beautiful and peaceful setting with lots of lovely places a short drive away. April and Max were such warm and kind hosts - we had a minor incident with one of our children while on holiday and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed with great facilities - we felt it was better in real life than the pictures. We would definitely return if coming back to the area 😊

We had a lovely stay at La Florelie. The setting is really beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Total relaxation. Thanks to Simon for hosting us as well as Beau and Belle ;) I recommend it and we will come back without hesitation.

We had a lovely stay at Pascale's place. The accommodation was exactly as described and the welcome was very warm. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and the environment is very quiet. The area is beautiful and offers great potential for visits. At Pascale's we enjoyed the very nice Nordic bath. And our host always had charming touches!

We had such a wonderful week staying at The Walnut Gite. Caroline and Jerry were fantastic hosts giving us lots of super recommendations and always on hand to answer any questions. The location is stunning and perfect for a family get away with the dog, with plenty of nearby attractions but far enough away for peace and quiet. The gite is beautifully decorated with anything and everything you might need during the stay. Highly recommend and we’ll be back for sure.

We stayed for a month enjoyed a very relaxing time. Marie Christine could not have been more helpful. The village is beautiful and busy during the day but very quiet at night with limited restaurants open. But it is open with all the restaurants at lunch time. The Bar in the centre of the village was very friendly and we would recommend the hotel in the village for food! The walks were sublime - if you love walking you will love it here. Marie Christine was super helpful and hospitable - even when we accidentally broke her fridge - a truly lovely lady. If you like quirky you will love it here.

We had a great stay in Fleurac, the house was just as it was advertised - lovely. We have been to the area before and have friends near by - but we still found lots of places that were new to us. Lauren's communication from the start was great and finding and getting into the house was very easy. The house had good wifi and parking was right next to the entrance. The church next door was lovely as was the surrounding area. We would definitely stay again as it was ideal to relax and enjoy country life.

Wow, what a place. The view is fantastic. The cottage is fine. I'm glad there are two showers. We were allowed to use the pool and that was really great! The hosts are very nice and offer help where needed.

Great hospitality from Patricia. Visit the accommodation together, easy and pleasant discussion with a real pleasure to welcome us "home"!! Practical and valuable tips. Our stay went really well. The promise of calm, nature and rest is at the rendezvous. Well located 30 minutes from everything you need to see in this area. We recommend it.

Peaceful stay under the sign of nature and authenticity, we really enjoyed it! Thank you for bringing these old buildings to life, they have a soul. Nothing is missing in this house where we felt right at home. We'll be back without any worries!

Staying with Carl and Tara was a highlight of our road trip. Too much to say in a little review like this, but suffice it to say, you won’t regret staying here 1 bit. I’m sure we’ll be back!

the house was extremely comfortable and had a lovely fenced garden and super terrace. we enjoyed coming home there. the distance from facilities was doable with sarlat 14 mins away.

We had a great time. We had everything we needed for our baby without asking for anything, it's very nice. (Highchair, bathtub, towel, blanket) The cottage is very well located (10 minutes from Domme) is quiet, very well-equipped. I think this is the first time I've done an Airbnb with so much attention and so well thought out. All the little touches are really little extras for a pleasant stay. We have just spent 6 days here and can honestly say it was a wonderful time. We thought the photos looked great but it really did exceed our expectations and is absolutely stunning in the ‘flesh’. After a long, hot drive, to sit at the bar by the pool chatting with Tracey and Gavin was a fabulous start to our holiday. The accommodation is just perfect in every way and I don’t think we will ever find more comfortable beds. The gite is situated in a beautiful spot and also within easy distance of the many other amazing sights of the Dordogne. Tracey and Gavin are the most friendly, welcoming and generous of hosts, nothing is too much trouble and we left knowing we have made lovely new friends. We shall definitely be returning next year.
