Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lawrence County

Price was a little high, but for the university graduation weekend, it was to be expected. Hotel rooms go for $1500 a night!

Very nice home away from home. Very welcoming. Smelled nice and very clean. The appliances were very nice. We loved Joe’s place. The outside was very calming with the hot tub area very private. The patio propane fire pit was very useful as the temperature was under 60 every day of our stay. Our Golden Doodle loved the huge backyard.

I can’t not say enough great things about this home!! I stayed here with part of my bridal party and stayed in the big room with its own half bath. The home and the beautiful yard and amenities far exceeded our expectations!!

We had both of Amy’s airbnbs over IU graduation wknd. We’ve been staying at the campus house for 4 yrs. I just realized that I left a review for that house on her woodland retreat house (new to Airbnb). Doesn’t seem to be a way to edit, so I’ll comment on that here: Outdoor wonderland! Beautiful! The house is great and comfortable, too! Amy’s artistic eye is obvious :) Having gotten to know Amy during our daughter’s past 4 yrs of undergrad at IU, I can attest that she is not only one of the best Airbnb hosts, but truly one of the kindest people on the planet💚…our dogs agree☀️

We had a great stay! The house was clean and in a great location. This was the most well-stocked airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at - from drinks and snacks to towels and blankets. It was the perfect place for our wedding group to stay at for the weekend.

We stayed at The Caddy Corner for a long girls' weekend, 4 of us. It was the perfect amount of space inside the house, and the outside/ firepit area was a bonus! We loved the hot tub after a long day of shopping in both French Lick and Jasper. We highly recommend visiting the Jasper Farmer's Market and the French Lick Museum. We wish that there were more little shops IN French Lick, but we enjoyed what they do offer. The drive to Jasper is short and worth it to get in more shopping! We did get to meet one of the neighbors, his name is Korde, and he was very friendly. It was just us four ladies, and we needed a man for a small task, and he was there for us. So, Emma, if you know Korde, please thank him again for us. We really enjoyed our stay, and if ever back in the area, we will stay again! Thanks for your hospitality! Love, The Fab Four

This place was beautiful, remote and quiet. It was a great time to catch up with my family from out of town. It was a bit chilly but we were able to cozy up next to the fire and have some beers and s'more's. Overall the house was clean and as explained in the listing. My family loved it and we will be back.

Fantastic stay in Nashville. Perfect setting for us in the heart of Nashville. Most of our desired shop and diner visits were walking distance. Fantastic and friendly restaurant down below too. Amazingly we did not see all that we wanted in Nashville. We really enjoyed our visit and will do it again!

Kara’s place was beautiful and spotless. Walkable to all of downtown Nashville. We had a peaceful and fun stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was amazing! Kara did a great job of having everything super well stocked, all the amenities you could think of. We experienced a city wide power outage the weekend we were there and she did everything in her power to help us navigate that. Brought us a generator to save our food and charge devices. She even had flashlights and lanterns stocked in the house. One of the best AirBnb’s I’ve stayed in and will definitely be back. Kara was extremely responsive and so helpful!

We had a great stay at this property. We were so impressed with the cleanliness, all of the new amenities, the comfort of the family room, the adorable backyard, etc. Everything was just perfect!

I cannot say how thankful I was to find this place while looking for the perfect eclipse viewing spot. The host was very helpful as I was trying to time the weather and ability to move around, if needed. Her place was amazing - remote, beautiful and spacious, with stylish decor and so clean! As I was driving in, later than I had planned, she gave me a video of how to get inside which worked perfectly. I got inside and stopped and realized the space was exactly as pictured. Clean and quiet, peaceful, this was going to be THE spot for viewing the event of a lifetime. The host family was generous with suggestions on where to go in town, how to interact with the animals, snacks and beverages (which saved me on my late arrival) and access to wander the property and time to relax. They allowed me to view the eclispe is a private back pasture which was a stunning backdrop for the eclipse Everything was absolutely perfect and I would love to visit again! Thank you for an amazing experience. ♥

Her studio was great. Well equipped and clean with a short drive into town. She was very accommodating and responsive and would absolutely recommend her beautiful property.

My friends and I were in town for a wedding at The Wilds. Very convenient for getting to the wedding venue and to and from downtown Bloomington. If I’m ever back in Bloomington with a large group I would definitely book Nancy’s place again.

So friendly and helpful even when we had a family emergency. The location is gorgeous!

A wonderful place to stay, beautiful scenery

The cabin was exactly as shown in the photos. Key code to open the door, which is nice so you don’t have to carry a key. He had some essentials like condiments, spices and sugar stocked in the kitchen. It felt like home.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights to celebrate our anniversary. It was beautiful. The location was absolutely perfect! Only 10 minutes from downtown Nashville and only about 5 to the state park. We brought our pup along too! He felt right at home here (minus being too afraid to go upstairs but he’s just skittish lol). Luke was very responsive! We had noticed the bathroom door had a few hinges that came loose. That very next day, Luke stopped by to quickly fix it. It wasn’t a huge deal to us & we would have enjoyed our stay either way. But this is a testament to how much he cares about his listings & his guests. We will definitely be back!

Martin was a stupendous host. He reached out about check in , mentioning that he was totally on our schedule and was more than flexible. He met us at the property to show us around and make sure we had what we needed. Great communication! Attention to detail was evident and we had everything we needed a for our relaxing stay. The fire pit, Blackstone grill and walking trails were all a big hit with the family. The property feels private and secluded but is still close to town and all local attractions. Love all the bird feeders! Thanks Martin! We will be back.

Wonderful, clean, and quaint cabin. Your surrounding view is beautiful especially with the extra large covered porch with fans! Screen to the cabin is great to hear nature. We will definitely rent this place again. Starr was responsive and helpful. Go to Bruster’s ice cream- about a 17 minute drive from the cabin!

This was our 2nd visit to Simple Blessings. We absolutely love it. Great way to spend my Birthday. Brian always checks in. So helpful. Love the sweet note , bread and Book. Will be back for sure.
