Historic 1890s Cottage: Walk to the Square/Beach

Heavenhill Guesthouse has been hosting guests since 2012! Just blocks from the historic Granbury square. This fully renovated 1890s cottage caters to four guests with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.

Casa Lucia - Caroline Suite

Beautiful location on the lagoon, serene and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. A few minutes drive from downtown Bacalar. The access and space in the lagoon is peaceful and private for our property. There are two other rental units on the property, with whom access to the lagoon is shared. In the lagoon area there is a dock and two terraces, offering enough space for our guests.
