The place was absolutely gorgeous—truly nothing negative to say. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and the warmth of home. The host, Jen, was proactive and incredibly responsive from the start, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The staff were exceptional, especially the villa manager, Ushan, who had an uncanny sense of when to be present and when to give us space. Even when not physically around, he ensured every request was met. The cook prepared amazing meals daily, and the entire property was spotless, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. We genuinely regretted only staying for four days—it simply wasn’t enough time in such a beautiful setting. We’re already planning to return. Bonus: it was unexpectedly fun spotting dragonflies around the property—just one of many charming touches.

Such a wonderful villa on top of the hill over looking the nearby Urakuruwa beach. Lovely big and well decorated room with balcony, kitchen and en suite bathroom. Stunning views over the beautiful garden, jungle and the ocean. Great breakfast and wonderful team who looked after us so well. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Aether Hilltop Villas for 4 nights and honestly, The views were amazing, the vibe was super peaceful. It’s one of those spots that actually looks better in real life than in photos — which is rare! This stay completely exceeded our expectations. Would 100% come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Also What really stood out was David’s hospitality, you can tell he truly cares about the guests and puts so much love into the place.

We had fabulous time at this villa , it was exactly as described and communication with the host Yohan with so easy. he was also very helpful and accommodating. The whole place just felt like home. Gamini the caretaker/cook was fantastic, he met all our needs and he is a fabulous cook who made anything our hearts desired. We definitely will be coming back again. We had five nights at Villananda Villa. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a few days of R and R. We had just finished a bike ride through Sri Lanka and were looking for a bit of rest and peace. This place was excellent. Leading up to our visit Martin was excellent in his communication and very helpful. His manager Sampath was also excellent and very helpful organising transfers to and from the villa and also organising reliable Tuk Tuk drivers to take us to places of interest. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Sampath. The real gems were the two young men looking after us and the villa. Unfortunately I didn't quite work out their names but they cooked and cleaned and looked after us like family. We ate all our evening meals at the villa from the menu on offer and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Villa BBQ!! I think it was the best meal we had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and it was cooked on a home made BBQ at the villa. Fantastic!!

Villa Samas is truly a gem away from the hustle bustle! It is serene, beautiful, peaceful and very calming. The villa itself perfectly complements the tranquility of the surroundings. The villa is clean, well-maintained and has all the necessities for a hassle-free and comfortable stay. The pool is also well-maintained. The hosts are very friendly, responsive and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

We had an unforgettable stay at Tea House Villa in Angulugaha. The villa is stunning—beautifully designed, peaceful, and surrounded by lush greenery. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. Raki is an exceptional host—attentive, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The staff were also kind and made us feel right at home. We had a stellar stay at Lilypad. Jamie & Angela made sure to take care of everything from before check-in to after check-out. The villa is beautiful with a lovely pool one can relax by. Everything is spotless clean. Pamod, the housekeeper is super. He's efficient, non-intrusive and helps with anything you ask for. I highly recommend Lilypad!
