The house is exactly like the pictures. The location is conveniently located near the downtown area and Indiana Dunes National and State Parks. The neighborhood is older, and I felt very safe. I only used the downstairs bed and it was very comfortable. The kitchen, bathroom and backyard are awesome!! Elsa is a great host and the extra touches for the doggies were appreciated.

We stayed here for the weekend because of its close proximity to Notre Dame for graduation. This is a truly unique house with beautiful surroundings. The neighborhood was peaceful, and there is a school just down the street with plenty of grass and open space if you have a dog to walk. The bed was comfortable and the record player was a nice touch. Jina also provided an extensive restaurant recommendation list, and everything was delicious. The house is a short drive to Lake Michigan, and there is a public beach you can access. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Had a wonderful time staying at Dunetop Escape! The owners were very nice and responsive. Very knowledgeable about the area and made some awesome recommendations. The house was spotless and very accommodating. The house has a lot of usable space and even more sleeping areas! Loved that they made beach days so easy as they had everything you may ever need. Will absolutely be looking to book this location again and look forward to exploring more of Michigan City.

We were having a family get together and house had plenty of space for 9 adults and 2 smaller dogs. Our Son-in-law and grandson enjoyed fishing in the ponds. There are plenty of walking trails. Walmart was 15 minutes away for the few things we forgot. We had a great time and really enjoyed staying in the home.

Very comfortable and eclectic home. If you love 18th century homes this home is a beauty! Lovely space and furnishings lots to admire and explore!

We had a longer, extended stay at Mary’s place and loved our time there. Plenty of room and games for our boys, a park down the road with fun dune trails in the winter, and a few blocks from the beach! The house had everything we needed for cooking and baking, which was much appreciated! Mary and her husband were very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had, as well as recommendations for the area. Hope to return here someday!

Mary was an amazing host! Her house is gorgeous. Very pretty, clean, and so much provided. She had everything we could have needed and then some. The pool was amazing and heated! So many towels and games. A perfect place to stay with family. Mary was so responsive and responded right away to any questions we had.

Greg is an amazing host. Beautiful walkable area, full of nature. The pool and pool table provide hours of entertainment. Top notch Airbnb. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay with our son and his family. The house, yard and pool were perfect for our grandson and their two dogs. The neighborhood was very quiet and walkable. Our only possible concern was the lack of communication about the lawn being mowed and the pool being serviced on the Friday of our stay. It would have been nice to know so we could have had the dogs inside before people came into the yard.

Amys place is beautiful,all we had to do is check in with our food and clothes,we needed nothing else place is amazing,returning next year!

We loved our stay at this house. The host was very responsive, helpful, and answered all of our questions. The house was well stocked with all we needed and more. We loved using the pool, downstairs games, fire pit, grill, and all supplies that were provided with these amenities. The location felt very private and serene and we would definitely stay here again!

Great little spot. Really loved the local coffee shop. Didn't spend much time in town, but drove to the national park instead. Great spot to save a little and still be able to enjoy the beach and parks.

We absolutely loved the fact that it was an old farmhouse in the countryside. Our whole experience there was wonderful. Anna and Wesley are the most beautiful amazing helpful people I have ever met, always very respectful and responsive to any needs we had. We have 3 dachshund’s and they loved exploring the countryside and they felt safe in the house and around Anna and Wesley. We will definitely always stay there again when we are in the area.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We had a great time during our visit. Me, my husband, and our two fur babies really enjoyed a restful and relaxing long weekend. Home is a short drive to the beach and other city activities. This home was very clean and well stocked with anything you need to cook. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dogs. The home is settled in a beautiful wooded area. We took a nice walk around the neighborhood, watched movies, played games, and had a truly relaxing time. Would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The location is absolutely perfect—quiet, peaceful, and tucked away just enough to feel like a true escape, yet still walkable to scenic trails and local restaurants. The home itself is brand new, with an open floor plan that’s incredibly spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and entertaining. The views of the lake are stunning, especially from the covered deck where we spent mornings with coffee and evenings around the fire pit. The property is equipped with everything you could possibly need—there’s a boat slip, which made getting out on the water for tubing and fishing a breeze. Whether you’re looking to unwind or enjoy all the lake has to offer, this place has it all. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful, and made everything seamless. We truly didn’t want to leave and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the Round Room. The location was easy to find as instructions were very clear. The landscape was beautiful and definitely felt private! :) our tent was clean and well kept. Bed and linens were clean, so that was a huge plus!! all the amenities listed were included and we had no issues finding the boats or supplies. My husband had some difficulty with the grill for a bit, as the spark button wasn't working properly, but we had a lighter , so not a deal breaker. We brought most of our own supplies , so we didn't utilize their cups, plates, etc. but there were easily available if we needed them. Some of the outdoor furniture and lights were a little outdated and some maintenance may be needed, but nothing that would prevent us from coming here again. At night, we heard the highway and trains but that didn't bother us much. Natalie was very responsive when we had questions. :) Overall, we had a lot of fun and would recommend!

In New Carlisle for the holidays from Chicago. This is a very cozy, home in a very quiet town with easy access to Southbend (East) and Lake Michigan, lake shore attractions (West.) The home location is a short drive from our South Shore Line pick up in Hudson Lake. Tim’s home was nicely decorated for the holidays, and had a nice hot cocoa bar that added a sweetness to our quiet winter morning stay.

Great host. Very responsive and was proactive in making sure we felt at home. She was also very understanding and was flexible with the checkin check out timings.
