We had a great time at Sander and Tanoi's who create a friendly atmosphere between different travelers. The place is exceptional: you don't get tired of the view of the Mekong and its rapids. It is also a great opportunity to discover a rural and authentic Laos since their place is the only tourist accommodation on the island. We will come back 🤩

Nouth was a great host, she had her brother pick us up from the train station, runs a great restaurant with tasty affordable food! (Breakfast was also great and included) This is especially great since it is a 20-25 minute walk from the city. She was very good with helping us rent a buggy for the day, and also took us back to the train station when we left. The location is nice, peaceful and tucked away from the city, we were looking forward to having bikes to make the way into the city easy. Unfortunately they were not provided as mentioned in the airbnb listing. This was a big downside for us, but overall still a great stay and Nouth is a wonderful host.

It is such a joy to stay in this small cottage. Nouth picked me up at the railway station when it’s raining so heavily that day. Instantly made me feel at home. Also the family owned restaurant is also very good. The place is about 2.5 km away from the town center, but Nouth gave me her bike so it’s still easy to commute. Highly recommend this place!
