Danny and Daniel were super nice hosts, we totally enjoyed our stay in the middle of the jugle! Really good vibe. Obviously it is not easy to get there and you have to walk quite a lot but nothing we didn‘t know before and after all it is worth it! To the park and the pools it is a about 40min walk but to get back to hostel you can just take a tube and float back on the river for about an hour to the hostel which is great fun. Just one thing: since it is deep in the jungle you shouldn‘t be too scared of tarantulas 😏 Thanks a again for a great stay!

We were there just for one night and got to experience how special this place is! Brian and Sylvie immediately made us feel at home. we got there exhausted after a night bus and they let us check in at 7am! we had breakfast and dinner with them and the other guests, Paulina's food is really good and was accommodating for vegetarians :) they even put up a curtain in the room after we asked! Thank you so much!

Cynthia was very kind and accommodating. When we arrived our hot shower didn't work so her and her husband immediately fixed it for us and they were helpful for providing information. Very nice people!

We had a beautiful stay in this peaceful, remote hideaway — a perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature. Just a heads-up for future guests: there’s a short unpaved walk to reach the accommodation, so it may not suit anyone with mobility issues. We didn’t fully read the listing beforehand (our fault) and were surprised there was no hot water, but it wasn’t an issue — the water warms up in the sun during the day, so a daytime shower was perfectly comfortable. As it’s deep in nature, we did have insects come into the room at night when the lights were on, likely through small gaps in the door. We found that blocking the gap under the door helped stop this from happening. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a ceramic water filter, which was really handy. Jose is a fantastic host — super communicative and helped us organise transport and tours. Overall, it was a really special stay. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled experience.

This place is an absolute adventure that can't be missed! Such a beautiful location. It is about a 30 min trek to get to but everything is so well organised with a truck waiting to collect us from the bus and a guide waiting to show us the way to the cabin. We managed it with 2 kids (14 and 9) and bags. The food was absolutely delicious and they catered so helpfully to our vegan choices too. Lovely owners and staff. We loved it here so much and only wish we had longer there to explore the area. There are so many swimming spots in the river and beautiful walks. We loved all the fruit and cocoa growing nearby. We had a day out at Semuc Champey which really can't be missed. We met other lovely travellers easily because of the communal meals. We also took part in a copal ceremony which was lovely and was a great education before Tikal a few days later where we found lots of Copal trees growing! The owners and staff were so knowledgeable and organised so much for us. Thank you so much! 🙏

Las chicas de recepción de lo mejor. Siempre estuvieron atentas y me hicieron sentir como en casa. Me ayudaron mucho a trasladarme y con recomendaciones locales.

Le logement : à environ 15 minute de marche de la route principale, on s’enfonce dans la forêt tropicale pour arriver au logement perdu au milieu des arbres avec pour seuls voisins les grillons et la vue imprenable. Dépaysement garanti, prendre son bain et ses repas face à cette vue est une expérience hors des sentiers battus que je conseille. Le logement est propre, muni d’un gros ventilateur et d’une moustiquaire pour passer des nuits paisibles. L’hôte : d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle ! Ultra réactif, Julien m’a même réservé mes shuttles a/r lanquin, m’a conseillé pour mon voyage, m’a proposé un cacao tour organisé par ses voisins et est venu traduire de l’espagnol vers le Français. Plein de bons conseils, je suis rarement tombée sur un hôte aussi avenant et prévenant. Julien propose de cuisiner matin et soir, je ne peux que vous le conseiller! Il cuisine divinement bien! J’ai testé tous des plats differents et tout était délicieux. N’hésitez plus et foncez vers ce coin de paradi
