Beautiful stay at Monsegur. Very private, peaceful stay with friendly locals. Julien is wonderful- nothing is too much bother and we visited his parents family run restaurant which was opposite the house and our favourite place to eat during our stay. Kids loved the pool and garden. Highly recommend.

We were a group of 6 and had a fantastic time in Rachel's house in Thédirac. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to prepare meals, there were lots of lovely outdoor places to sit and eat, the garden was beautiful and well maintained (and a great source of herbs for cooking), and it was a real treat to walk to the bakery each morning for fresh bread and croissants. It was about 30-60 mins drive from the main attractions, which was fine for half-day or day trips. Couldn't have asked for more.

We had a lovely stay at Marc and Denise's, who are great hosts. The setting is superb, the accommodation is charming, it has everything you need. Feel free to book their table d'hôte, you'll love it! It is also very well located, you will find many tourist getaways nearby. We highly recommend their cottage :)

I rented this home to enjoy some family and friend time away from otherwise hectic French travel. This was perfect! It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend or family member. And, the host recommended a private chef who provided cooking lessons and a birthday luncheon! Unforgettable!! Unlike any other Airbnb property for its charming hosts, the beautiful character of the property and the amenities we enjoyed. Lots of nearby wineries, Bergerac had great charm and food, boat ride on the Dordogne, and more. No one wanted to leave! We hope to return!! Merci beaucoup, Karen & Charlie!!

A gorgeous old stone house with chic updates. We only used 3 bedrooms and they were all comfortable with modern baths. Many places to gather, especially outside. The living room was lovely and welcoming. The farnhouse kitchen was very well supplied. The pool house was to die for and we had cocktails and even dinner there one evening. The views! Gorgeous, with castles and hot air balloons. The hosts live on site and were delightful when we ran across them but very discreet. It definitely felt like “our” property. Nothing negative to say, and we were blessed with fabulous weather! It’s in the heart of the must see towns along the Dordogne, with many restaurants and sights within 5-10 minutes. We enjoyed our two weeks stay at Véronique‘s a lot. The house is very nice, we felt at home right away. It is located in a lovely, well kept and quite village. If you see the neighbours in the streets, they are friendly. The house itself is very clean, offers even more space than the photos indicate, and is very well decorated. The kitchen has everything we needed when it comes to utensils and machinery. The bathrooms are nice, too. The view from the house onto the property and surrounding landscape is amazing and invites you to relax. We took a lot of meals on the balcony. We enjoyed the garden and especially the pool which is looked after by a specialist every view days. We saw a lot of different birds while being in the garden. The village offers a small restaurant and a very good bakery both with French cuisine/ pastry.

This is a 5 star stay. Absolutely lovely hosts. Beautifully renovated ancient stone house inside the heart of a medieval village just dripping with charm and authenticity. Brand new fridge loads of space, kitchen is spotless and has every gadget imaginable. Well thought out space with living / dining area, bathroom with rainwater shower, washing machine, pantry all downstairs. Upstairs is another living area, another bathroom with bathtub, double sided bookshelf separates living space from lovely queen bedroom with huge stained glass window. Lots of natural light, objets d’arr, great bedding plush pillows, ample towels, lots of spices and cooking supplies. Margo and John are attendant to every and any need and are fabulous people - they know where anything you’d want to do, shop for, see, eat, experience is located and when it is open. That front patio full of plants and beauty and sunshine is amazing.Parking, shops, restaurants, narrow ancient charming streets, just stunning. 5*!!

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

You couldn't wish for a better host than Arnaud! Proactively checking if everything is to their liking, or inquiring if help is needed. Through the app to respect your peace and privacy, but take the time for a conversation if you want. The accommodation is new and cozily furnished with attention to details. We felt right at home there! The thick walls keep heat out and you can have a good night's sleep in the lovely beds and good sound insulation. The location is conveniently located relative to the many attractions in the area. Much has already been written about it in the introduction of Arnoud and Elodie, but if you want to swim quietly, relax on the side and lie in the shade under the trees with a catering facility, go to Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. The town of Monpazier is also well worth it! Normally supermarkets are miles away but in this place there is one 900 meters away. Arnoud, Elodie, thank you for the wonderful time!!

The accommodation was very comfortable and well-equipped. The terrace is good sized with a generous green space. We felt at home during the 2 weeks of our stay. Hosts who live nearby were available without being intrusive. The Dordogne is rich in places to visit. The immediate neighborhood on foot alone is not of great interest. You must therefore use a bicycle or a car to connect the historic center about 3 km away.

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

Very nice quiet accommodation. The house is beautiful, very well-equipped, with its swimming pool (its games) and the petanque court facing the wheat fields. Hosts were very flexible. No complaints, would recommend!

The Bergerie is a haven of absolute peace and calm. The building is in great condition with shutters that work effectively on all windows and a built in air conditioning unit for when it's very hot. The furniture and kitchen utensils are rustic and look the part - don't expect the latest from Ikea here, although there is a modern kettle, fridge, oven and Phillips Senseo coffee machine (some coffee was provided for us - much appreciated). The bed was super comfortable and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Sitting outside on the terrace in the evening, the only sound was that of the birds - it was utterly tranquil and highly recommended if you're looking for somewhere to escape the stress of daily life. The village of Lalinde is charming with a range shops and bars. It's approximately 1 mile away, but a steep climb back if on foot or a bike. Our only regret is not booking for a longer stay.

That's why we love AirBnB; great revitalized, beautiful house in a quiet rural area. We enjoyed the great pool, the good cheese from the nearby cheese dairy and the excellent red wine on the terrace. And our dogs were welcome.

Enjoyed enormously. Beautiful apartment, cozy terrace and super swimming pool. Swimming pool was very clean, as well as the apartment. Communication with the owner is very fast and very friendly. Come up with tips in the area. Nearby, there is plenty to do and there is a market to visit somewhere within 40km every day. Sarlat, Le Bugue, Domme, Le Roque-Gageac, Chateau Castelnaud and Chateau des Milandes we definitely found worth visiting. In short, we definitely recommend this apartment.

Very charming and utterly peaceful location.

Quiet and very beautiful house, keeping things cool in the summer. The pool is nice for cooling off, and the surroundings are very quiet. Top location to enjoy the area while being in a small chill cosmos with friends. Fred and Liza were very welcoming, clear in their explanations and they provided us with clean and very well-equipped accommodation. We were able to cook ourselves throughout the stay, the kitchen is really great. The 2 bathrooms also help avoid traffic jams when you're a group of 8.

Amazing location with a spectacular view. Very spacious but the bedroom layout was not favourable for the second couple. Stairs could be difficult for people with limited mobility

The house is perfectly designed and thought out. It is bright, the materials are of quality and chosen with great taste, you will also find high-end appliances. We were warmly welcomed by Mariadèle The garden calls for rest and relaxation, the birds will keep you company throughout your stay. Each of the 3 bedrooms is tastefully decorated and has a very spacious walk-in shower. The master suite (pink) also has a bathtub and toilet Single-story and very spacious, the house is ideal for hosting the elderly. I would of course recommend this rental, which is good value for money compared to the services offered.
