Beautiful Hideaway in the hills of trás os montes

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Além de todas as condições em casa para fazer refeições e confraternizar em família e amigos tem uma piscina no terreno que podem se refrescar nos dias quentes e ficar a sombra de Oliveiras muito antigas.Fazer caminhadas pela montanha até ao rio é sempre uma actividade muito saudável, o rio Rabaçal é muito bonito e existem vários percursos até ele, fica a pé cerca de 15 a 30 minutos. 5 stars! Thank you, Miguel! An incredible vacation in a dream location, with everything you needed to enjoy a few quiet days with the family. Miguel was always very attentive to all the details, which we appreciate. The decor is spectacular, the house is small but very cozy. Miguel made sure to leave us spectacular amenities like the barbecue and a fireplace for the evening on the terrace. It was an experience to repeat without a doubt. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, with all the comforts. Thank you Miguel and team! I will go back. Jorge.

Definitely a good place to stay here, a very clean house, with everything you need to be very comfortable. We have traveled with a two-year-old and has everything you need to make the child comfortable and safe. From the first moment Cindy have given us all the facilities we have needed. We will return for sure since the area is very nice and the treatment was excellent.

The place is wonderful, between mountains and perfect for disconnecting. The house is simply spectacular, you can tell that they have put your soul in that project. It is a luxury home surrounded by nature. Materials, appliances, decoration, etc, all of the very first quality and with very good taste. We are a family of 5 and have spent Christmas at Casa da Eira Velha. Gloria's reception was unique, we had a large basket with fruit, nuts, homemade jams and local honey as well as vegetables from her orchard waiting for us! Any questions we had Gloria resolved it in less than 30 minutes. The house is dreamy in a place to disconnect and rest!

Everything was great & we got great recommendations for the area. Upon arrival, we met at a nearby cafe and were escorted to the accommodation. On site, we were very warmly welcomed and received the first information. After half the stay, we even got fresh towels. Unfortunately, two things are not apparent from the description: the view of the lake is obscured by trees & you have direct neighbors. But that didn't bother us & we would always come back!
