We just spent a stopover evening in the accommodation which was spacious, clean and comfortable with a very nice little terrace. Great value for the price Recommended even for a longer stay.

If you are looking for a big beautiful house for a family holiday, look no further! This house is spacious, beautifully decorated, located in a quiet countryside but only ten minute drive to a big supermarket. We enjoyed the indoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and playing boules. Photos don’t do the house justice. It exceeded our expectations. Would recommend staying here and we would not hesitate to stay again. Lise was very responsive in her communication. We drove through the night to get to the house and Lise kindly offered us a one off earlier check in, which we were grateful for.

The accommodation was in a lovely setting and the house was lovely. It’s a great launching pad to get to the dordogne and other places around.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

The stay in Anne's little house was exceptionally beautiful! We were warmly welcomed by Anne, who makes it clear that she likes to have guests. She has furnished the beautiful little house the way she would do it for herself. Everything is selected with attention to detail, the bed under the roof is comfortable with great views to the outside, you will find good coffee, toiletries in the bathroom and even a grill with charcoal and lighters. When we were there, the figs in the garden were ripe, which we could pick - the porcini mushrooms from the forest, a good bottle of wine from the local winery, a reservation at "Le Bistrot du Presbytère" (around the corner and great!)Anne helps out with everything to make her guests' stay as enjoyable as possible. The house itself and all its furnishings are as beautiful as seen in the photos, the garden and the possibilities to sit outside are a dream. We'd love to go back right away!

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Quiet and very beautiful house, keeping things cool in the summer. The pool is nice for cooling off, and the surroundings are very quiet. Top location to enjoy the area while being in a small chill cosmos with friends. Fred and Liza were very welcoming, clear in their explanations and they provided us with clean and very well-equipped accommodation. We were able to cook ourselves throughout the stay, the kitchen is really great. The 2 bathrooms also help avoid traffic jams when you're a group of 8.

Such a relaxing few days spent at this beautiful cottage. Nature, the local village and the sauna/hot tub were exactly what we needed

Perfect central ground floor apartment. Comfy and clean. Thank you to Laure for helping us with the tv as we didn’t know how to work it. Bergerac is a lovely place to visit. Would love to come back again. Next time I need to brush up on my French as most of the locals don’t speak English. Or let’s say, they would rather you speak French. And why not.

Guillaume was very helpful and a good communicator and the apartment was spacious and clean with lovely furnishings. The area the apartment was in was very close to the old town with lots of restaurants close by as well as a laundromat which we used for drying after we washed our cloths in the washing machine at the apartment. Description was accurate and check in was faultless. Would highly recommend for anyone staying at Bergerac.

Great Stay! Really easy location - close to good restaurants, and bars. Good amenities and really responsive and helpful host!

We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation as well as its waterfront garden. A true haven of peace, ideal for recharging your batteries with a magnificent view. Isabelle is a really nice person and offers services that are rare in their quality. We can't wait to see her again! We would recommend it without hesitation :)

I highly recommend Pascale's accommodation, everything is perfect, the location, the equipment, the environment (the countryside in the city!), the shops nearby not to mention the hosting which is great! For sure we will come back!

Best ever a truly 5 starts, great location, beutiful place confi bed, free parking is 10 minutes walking, great towels, cotton linen sheets, it my be a little more expensive but is worth every penny….i can’t fault this place in any thing…..

Beautiful quiet apartment, very well equipped and nicely decorated, very clean, a parking space. On a stopover, we had two relaxing nights there (on the way there and back). Beautiful view from the living room of a beautiful valley. Very friendly welcome from our guests. Practical side, takeaway pizzas in the village 5 min away. I recommend it.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.
