Absolutely phenomenal stay at Lance and Karin’s home in Lake Wylie, South Carolina! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the modern old-day charm of the house — a perfect blend of cozy warmth and tasteful design. But what truly sets this place apart is the breathtaking view of the lake right in the backyard. Whether you’re into swimming, canoeing, or just lounging in the beach chairs by the water, there’s something incredibly calming about being so close to nature. And if that’s not enough, the large deck off the back of the house is ideal for sitting back, relaxing, and taking it all in. As someone who uses Airbnb regularly, I can honestly say this home is a 10 out of 10. My children and wife enjoyed every single minute — from the water activities to just spending quality time together in such a peaceful setting. Sweetwater cottage was such a cozy and relaxing spot. It is also close to local restaurants and shops. We came to the area to watch the Coca Cola 600 race. Georgia was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had.

John is “the” host! We had a great time in his property. The property has everything you need to have a great time. You can fish, swim in the pond, play pool, etc. John takes really good care of you, cannot ask for a better host!

We booked Greg and Lisa's place because it was very near to family we were visiting at Christmas. And, even though it was right in the middle of the busiest Holiday season Greg and Lisa were very responsive with any request or questions we had. We were quite pleasantly surprised to see the kitchen is more well equipped than how it appears in the photos. There is a new 2 burner induction cooktop as well as a small countertop oven. We were eating with family elsewhere, but I feel I could have prepared a full meal in the kitchen if I had needed or wanted to. We also appreciated how comfy the big sectional sofa was. It was perfect for cuddling and watching a movie with our daughter whom we hadn't seen for a long time. Thanks Greg and Lisa! We will probably be back!

Wonderful location on the north end of Lake Norman. Very close to everything in Mooresville with great waterfront dining options and tons of easy-to-access grocery stores. I didn’t necessarily pay close enough attention to the listing to notice that there isn’t a full kitchen, however, the hosts provided all kinds of utensils, a full-sized refrigerator, a microwave, a very nice toaster over/air fryer and an electric skillet. There’s also a great Weber grill, which we used for filets! So the lack of a full kitchen, definitely did not end up being a big deal! Note, there is only one bathroom, but it’s very nice. However, the shower is a tub/shower combo, and requires you to step pretty high to get in, so if you have issues with that, keep that in mind. That said, they have the highest quality shower doors I have ever seen, and very nice shower hardware. Super nice! Dock and covered area was great, as was the fire pit. Also amazing to have access to kayaks! Thank you so much!

This house and place was amazing!!! We have stayed in many Air Bnb and this was our favorite stay. We had an amazing stay and will for sure be back!! Kendall was so understanding and nice. The view and home was so cabin feel and just amazing. Our dogs loved it We had great family time celebrating our triplet girls graduation!!

My husband and I needed some much-needed R&R and that is just what we got at this beautiful home. Loved the decor, the super comfortable couch and bed! We never made it to the Jacuzzi tub; however, the open shower was cool! Would defiantly recommend this romantic spot.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! The breathtaking mountain view was unbelievable, and the house itself was so cozy and comfortable, with comfy furniture and beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, even for our large group. Having access to Rumbling Bald was a fantastic bonus – we really enjoyed the indoor pool and mini-golf. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was smooth. We highly recommend this house for a peaceful family retreat. The only downside? Our kid was so sad when it was time to leave!!! Great place to stay. The lake was still not back up and running due to a natural disaster but that did not stop us from enjoying the pools and outdoor activities!

April and Derek were wonderful hosts! Home was exactly as described and very comfortable. We enjoyed the amenities and the excellent location to everything we needed.

We stayed for our 15th wedding anniversary and all I can say is WOW! We had the best time! Beautiful surroundings, super comfy bed, and plenty of room! Loved our stay and Rob was super responsive! Can’t wait to go back!

my husband and I just stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely wonderful. it was the peaceful and relaxing getaway we were looking for when we booked it. the place was beautiful and clean. looked just like the pictures. the resort offered so much that just made the stay perfect. the host was welcoming and very informative. they were super helpful and wonderful in making the stay great. we plan to come back 🤗

This place is AMAZING!! More than enough room for our family which included 10 adults and 2 small children. The decor was beautiful and the home was comfortable and homey. Krista and Graciano were super responsive and very accommodating. They went above and beyond by leaving things like beach toys and swim goggles for the kids, some fun hats for Memorial Day, and everything we needed to make s’mores. Our family owned a home in Chimney Rock that we completely lost due to hurricane Helene. It had become tradition for Memorial Day to be the designated weekend for our entire family to come together. It was so hard to not be able to continue that tradition this year. Although very different, Graciano and Krista’s home was the perfect place for us to continue our Memorial Day tradition. The home has so much to offer on its own that we barely used any of the amazing amenities that the resort has to offer!

I wish I was allowed to say more than a few words because it’s soooooo much I can say about this home! The view… is AMAZING!!! Omg! No matter which room you’re inside every view is wonderful! The home looks so beautiful and the pictures do no justice! The decor is top notch and it set the tone for a peaceful getaway. The home is so spacious! The children all crashed in the upstairs bedroom/loft instead of sleeping in separate bedrooms because that room itself is huge! And the beds are all comfortable! I struggle with sleeping but the kids said they came inside the room where I slept and I was knocked out. They said I was snoring like a baby and they recorded me because I was resting so well. It’s so much for the children to do! And they felt welcomed. We were left the cutest welcome snack basket and then a separate fruit basket with juice! This Airbnb was breathtaking! The host is super friendly, helpful and very professional! The home is clean and I can’t wait to book again. Thanks!

An Unforgettable Getaway – Highly Recommended! This place is an absolute gem! From the breathtaking location to the warm and welcoming hosts, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. If you’re considering a peaceful escape, don’t miss this one — it truly lives up to the hype. We enjoyed a relaxing vacation filled with outdoor adventures. We went kayaking, had a great time fishing (I even caught an 8” catfish on my very first try!), and ended our evenings with cozy bonfires under the stars. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The host went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed, all while giving us complete privacy throughout our stay. We made the drive all the way from Philadelphia, and I can confidently say it was more than worth it. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful lake home, perfect for a family getaway and probably the best Airbnb we have stayed in to date. The house was exactly as advertised, stunning lake views, extremely well-appointed, spotless, easy check-in/out, and great hosts who were very responsive to all of our questions. My family enjoyed all the amenities the house had to offer but loved the outside activities (firepit, kayaks and paddle boards) the best. A fantastic lake home.

Hunters communication was excellent. He was flexible with check in & check out times (had to pay). If I could change one thing it would be the check-in & check-out times. It is not a hotel and should be more accommodating since this large of a rental is for many people, having late check in and early check out doesn’t make sense to me. Overall the home was beautiful, peaceful surroundings, we loved the home. I would love if more toilet trees were included not only 1 trash bag & 1 toilet paper per bathroom, for the price. I would rent again, felt safe and welcomed! Thank you hunter!

We had an amazing stay here! The property is beautiful and quiet. The dock and kayaks were lots of fun. The yard was perfect for yard games—which there were tons of! Board games and books kept my kids occupied when they weren’t out swimming. The house was spotless and the kitchen very well equipped. We didn’t miss anything! Wishlist was very quick with communication and accommodating with an early check in and late check out! I would highly recommend and would love to be back one day!

Staying at Melinda and Andy’s at Lake Lure is our family’s favorite summer tradition. This is our fifth summer and we look forward to it all year. Kayaking, floating, and swimming on the lake; family games and meals on the porch; seeing turtles, swimming with ducks, and catching lizards; outings to Chimney Rock, Asheville, and Black Mountain; hiking, lying or reading on the daybed porch swing; making a fire for s’mores lakeside. This is a special place and we are grateful to have made so many family memories here.
