Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Our cottage is snuggled amongst recreational hotspots, walking distance to the beach, 2 miles from beautiful Afton MN (state park, downhill skiing), 4 miles from Hudson WI (shopping, dining, boat cruises, live music), 15 minutes from historic Stillwater. This small but comfortable home has amenities galore, is nestled on a double lot just 2 blocks from the river & 1 block away from a popular biking/walking trail. Sleeps 5 people comfortably. Unpaved driveway with ample parking for 2 vehicles.

La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Pets are welcome. This vintage home farmstead on 4 acres, was built in the mid 1850s and has old world character architecture with the comforts of modern day amenities. The southern exposure enclosed front porch is the favorite gathering spot for most everyone that has stayed in the home. This 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath property has potential for sleeping up to 8 guests.

Pepin Marina Retreat: Street Level Loft Apartment

The Pepin Marina Retreat: Main Floor Studio Apartment is across from the Pepin Marina in the quaint village of Pepin Wisconsin. The open floor plan layout is the former home to an ice cream shop built in 2010, with a brand new kitchen and island peninsula, with a view to the lake. This loft-style space is perfect for two people (but could accommodate more kids on pull-out couches for up to 5 people to share). This can be rented solo or in combination with the upstairs cottage apartment!

Water's Edge House on Tainter Lake

Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. Some guests say its a "private location", but we are on a very active lake with houses close by. Please read our "other details to note" for more info.

Beautiful, beautiful cabin. Nested in the middle of the Porcupine Valley, this cabin is a place for you to find rest and relaxation. Sitting on the front porch and listening to the birds is probably the best part of the cabin. Attractive flower beds, large yard, spacious interior, pond, and creek. Back porch, front porch, and upper balcony. Great for a family getaway or a low-key long weekend away from the city.
