Monthly Rentals in Lake Pend Oreille

Our stay at Sleeps Cabins was so wonderful. It was conveniently located out of town with water access but close to the highway and the long bridge for an easy commute into town or where our family lives up Lakeshore. The grounds were beautifully manicured and it was quiet and peaceful to sit outside. We visited in June and while it was hot, the shade from the trees made for a nice reprieve. The dock access was lovely first thing in the morning to drink coffee and relax AND we saw a bald eagle fishing. The unit had a nice living space, bathroom and bedroom. There were three of us and we didn’t spend a lot of time in the unit- but it was the perfect size for us. It was very clean and simply decorated which made for a calming vibe. We’ll definitely be back as this felt like a little retreat center!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were very active on some days and just relaxed in the cabin on others. Loved it.!

Mike is a terrific host—thorough and clear w instructions, proactive, friendly—and his place suited our needs beautifully (convenient to Schweitzer ski resort, which exceeded our expectations!) :) A truly memorable mid-winter ski break w my 17 yr-old twins thanks in large part to Mike and his wonderful accommodations!

Lake Affect Retreat is an absolutely beautiful and stunning home. The pictures don't do it justice. The home is nestled among tall trees and sits just right at the lake's edge. We were able to watch bald eagles and other wildlife while relaxing on the porch. We BBQ steaks, soaked in the hottub, and used their kayaks for a fun filled weekend. Deon and Christopher were excellent hosts; friendly and always available for any needs we may have needed. Her banana bread is delicious and was a kind welcoming. I would recommend staying here!
