Monthly Rentals in Lake Mutanda

Great house with a wonderful terrace above the lake. No mosquitoes in the house as the host put good mosquito nets and we closed all windows well before sunset. Dinner and beer on the terrace were wonderful. We had stars above and the quiet lake below. Across the lake is a simple village specialised in local beer, grilled pork and simple shopping. It is 500 meters by canoe or motorboat.

One of the most unique Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. David transformed a tiny island on Lake Mutanda into a little paradise. Beautiful room & views, great food, lovely family. Perfect location to hike volcanoes or visit the Mgahinga National Park to see Gorilla's or Golden Monkeys.

No words to discribe Aheza. The house, the service, the place with the view of the volconoes just from the front porch, all was great. The service provided by Harriet and her team (William, Vestina and Robert) was top notch. If you want to have a great stay, this is the place to be.

We felt like home all the time! The staff was extraordinarily friendly! We never had so many nice conversations since travelling through countries. The experiences we made were amazing. The Karungi-Camp Team will fulfill all your dreams. We had the chance to go to an international wedding, join a soccer match, hike though the area, get to know alot of the village and be a part of it. Thank you so much!
